Clear skies for most. Tonight could be the coldest since 2010 or come very close to it. The record to beat was -20.8 °C at Altnaharra, Scotland on 23rd December. Elsewhere tonight -3°C to -8°C, perhaps -10-11°C where a few centimeters or more has fallen. Severe frosts expected.

Sunday, at this stage looking promising for SW England and Southern Wales. Question is; how far East will it get before fizzling out or turning back to rain... one for nowcasting perhaps. Watching for last minute correction North/South or weakening #uksnow
