Some bittersweet news: I've decided that this will be my last year teaching. The past 10 years have been an incredible journey, and I'll cherish the memories and relationships I've made at Port Towns.

I'm so excited to announce that I'll be starting a new career as an IT Technician with PGCPS! This is the best move for me and my family, and I'm looking forward to this new adventure.

This time of year I should be gathering gifts for my boy. But instead I am mourning his loss and clinging to our past Christmas memories. I miss my buddy so much. 🫤

Family is everything and that is a fact.

Today is my first day back to work after losing my son, father-in-law, and father in a span of 24 days during July. I know they are going to be by my side to navigate this day.

Ever since @TMobile took over Sprint, I have had little to no service at the school that I teach at! It is worrisome that if something happened, I may not be able to make a call or text during an emergency. This is happening to multiple teachers with @TMobile at @PortTownsES!

One month left... This has been a very interesting school year!

Last week, my grandmother passed away. It has taken me some time to fully process this. I will miss her and cherish all the memories that I had with her. I am realizing now that I now have no living grandparents, which is a weird feeling.
Mental Health is an ongoing struggle that can make you feel alone even when you are not alone. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth

I was able to introduce @Canvas_by_Inst to @SamTeaches1st's 1st Grade Class today! It went a lot smoother than I anticipated and they were excited about using this new platform. We reviewed short a using Google Tools. #edtech @pgcps @PortTownsES @t3pgcps
