Fake journalist and MMPRC recipient @naaif trying very hard (but miserably failing) to rewrite the anti-Eagle Hills narrative, to change it from “anti-Zionism” to “bad commercial deal”. In the debate surrounding the Eagle Hills deal, 'Dheenahtakaa, Qaumah takaa' argument is not a valid one. Instead, this needs to be a technical & academic discussion focused on our national FDI policy. There are several critical questions we should actually be raising regarding the RasMale' & Eagle Hills agreement:
**How much is the government spending on dredging RasMale', & does this deal match what we are getting in return in the short term? Are 5,000 flats enough of an upfront return?
**Is charging an acquisition cost necessary, or not?
**Did the government carry out a proper valuation of RasMale' & conduct a study on the opportunity cost of the deal?
**What is our red line for FDIs, & what standards will we be setting for foreign investors?

Well, at least this guy isn't hiding his intentions (most of the time), unlike other politicians like Abdulla Shahid and Faisal. He’s been very clear about where he stands. He backed ultra-populists like Muizzu to kick out Ibu's administration. Now he has Fayya in a deadlock.
The most impressive part is how he outplayed the Salafists into backing Muizzu while making them make deals with Israel's current biggest ally in the Middle East.
