Whichever company is managing Nyandungu Eco-Park is beginning to rank pretty high on my Caiman Mediocrity Index. It's kind of wild to line up 10+ tricycles and then inform people that all of them are too defective to be used..

There are 3 kids cars lined up on the side. 2 of them haven't been mobile in the 2+ years I've been coming to the park and I believe the vegetation will claim them at some point before the end of the year. The third hadn't been charged.

(This is inspiring me to work on a 'broken tricycles theory' of business).

Things are moving so fast that everyone seems to have completely missed how insane it is that AI companies have been allowed to unleash agentic AI products with no regulatory guidelines.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

"Elon Musk says" is consistently the start of a sentence that ends up being one of the stupidest things that you've ever read in your life.
Elon Musk says Neuralink will allow humans to communicate with animals by 2028.

Can't imagine having to pick a husband or partner from a pool that listens to & internalises sermons like these. This is another version of the manosphere! Good luck to everyone involved especially the women.
It's always Paul the "former Pharisee" being quoted in these matters. Don't outshine your husband, ladies. It's ungodly 👌

Netflix has been swimming in a sea of mediocrity for the last few years but if they put out 15 seasons of this show I will watch 15 seasons of this show.
It's Kate and Hal Wyler versus the world. The Diplomat Season 4 is NOW ON NETFLIX.

The real test is whether Rwanda can turn global attention into sustainable investment, jobs, business opportunities, and economic returns that justify the public cost. Criticising Rwanda’s Formula 1 ambition without examining the economics is an incomplete analysis. F1 is not just a race; it is a global business platform that can attract tourists, investors, sponsorships, international media, and spending in hotels, restaurants, transport, and local businesses. But let’s be clear: hosting costs money, and success is not guaranteed. The question is not whether Rwanda is small, landlocked, or with low GDP. It is whether the economic strategy is sound, the risks are managed, and the benefits outweigh the costs. Judge the deal by its numbers, not by the size of the country. #Rwanda #Formula1 #EconomicDevelopment
Replying to @AlafatiMugabo1
Agreed. I could add that Rwanda's being landlocked, twice by Kenya and Uganda, makes its production costs high. It then has to focus on attracting international events and visitors, so this events approach makes sense. But it comes with risks, like a high debt-to-GDP ratio.

Before the announcement, the planning. Before the planning, the research. Before all of it, the courage to imagine it. This is what visionary leadership and audacious ambition look like🙌🏾🙌🏾
