The shortest explanation of what is happening in Poland: In Poland parliament elects judges and presidents ratifies them by accepting their oath. (This is opposite order to US where president nominates and senate ratifies), 1/2

5/6 President has veto power by design of the constitution. (the fact that those are judges to the constitutional tribunal makes it even more bizarre). That's is all. 6/

4/5 Consequently, what Tusk and his junta are trying to do is nothing else but a coup and high treason. Tusk is trying to make ana argument that as long as as they make an oath the president's approval is just a trivial formality. That is a lie. 5/6

3/4 Their motivation is irrelevant. Who likes whom. and is connected politically to whom is irrelevant. Who did what else at another time is irrelevant. They are not judges because president refused to accepted their oath and thus vetoed them, as is his constitutional right. 4/5

2/3 That oath is not valid, and they are not judges for as long as the president has not accepted it. That is all there is to it. Literarily. Everything else is irrelevant. So Tusk is breaking the law and his elected but not accepted judges are breaking the law. 3/4

1/2 President refusing to accept their oath i legally blocking the parliament's nomination. The onlus is all the time on his acceptance not their willingness to take and oath. They can pledge their oath to anyone they want. 2/3

Another good explanation of the EU sponsored coup attempt in Poland.
UNBELIEVABLE SCENES IN POLAND. Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, elected to the Constitutional Tribunal by Tusk's parliamentary majority but NEVER sworn in before the President of Poland, is now being presented on television as the person taking over the duties of the Tribunal's president. Polish law requires Constitutional Tribunal judges to take their oath before the President. Korwin-Piotrowska instead participated in a ceremony in Parliament, whose legal validity is disputed. She has now declared the Tribunal's president and vice-president suspended, invoking provisions governing ordinary courts through disputed statutory cross-references. The Tribunal's existing leadership rejects her judicial status, refuses to recognise the suspension and has denounced the operation as an unlawful coup d'état. A person whose own authority to serve as a constitutional judge is contested is claiming the power to suspend the leadership of Poland's highest constitutional court. And all of this is being presented as the restoration of the rule of law.

It is amazing how different is the western media coverage of events in Poland than just few years ago. Trump dismantling USAID (the primary player behind Tusk winning his election btw) and Musk buying X changed the landscape completely.

For those confused as to what’s happening in Poland right now… Imagine if Democrats won Congress, declared the Supreme Court didn't count anymore, ignored its rulings for 3 years, and then, a year before the next election, picked 8 new justices of their own, including a man their leader called his "right-hand man," and when the Republican president refused to swear them in, they swore themselves in and mailed him the paperwork, and when the Chief Justice said that wasn't legal and wouldn't seat them, they waited for a Friday night when the president was on a plane to Africa and had federal security officers who answer to a Democratic cabinet member walk 7 of them into the court through a back gate connected to the Democratic leader's own offices, where one of them announced she had "suspended" the Chief Justice, a move that even a law professor who openly can't stand him said had no legal basis, and then riot police blocked the Chief Justice from entering his own court, the court's website was taken over, the Attorney General moved that same night to strip his immunity so he could be prosecuted, the president had to turn his plane around mid-flight to come home, and the same people who spent years lecturing everyone about respecting the courts went online to say this was the rule of law, that it was painful, and that there was "no other way," which is roughly where Poland is tonight.

This may be really big. The Tusk junta needs this to break Poland to EU will.
🇵🇱 For everyone asking what's happening in Poland tonight, here are the key points: 1. The Constitutional Tribunal's leadership has been challenged. Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska issued orders suspending Tribunal President Bogdan Święczkowski and Vice-President Bartłomiej Sochański from their duties for one month. She claims authority to take over the Tribunal's leadership as its most senior judge. 2. Why did she do this? Korwin-Piotrowska accuses the existing leadership of obstructing the work of judges elected by the current parliamentary majority, violating judicial procedures and preventing the proper functioning of the Tribunal. She also raised concerns about the court's 2027 budget. 3. The Tribunal rejects the orders. Its existing leadership says the official website was illegally taken over and insists that Święczkowski remains president. The legality of Korwin-Piotrowska's decisions is disputed. 4. Police entered the building. Following the announcement, demonstrators gathered outside the Tribunal. Tensions escalated, with some people reportedly climbing over the fence and throwing objects at police officers. Police intervened and several people were detained. 5. Why is this Tribunal so important? The Constitutional Tribunal determines whether laws and other legal acts comply with Poland's Constitution. Its decisions can affect legislation, government actions and the country's entire legal system. Control over its leadership therefore has major constitutional and political significance. 6. This conflict has been building for months. Prime Minister Donald Tusk's government and President Karol Nawrocki have been locked in a dispute over the Tribunal's composition. Nawrocki refused to swear in three judges elected by parliament, while the Tribunal's existing leadership refused to allow judges appointed by the current parliamentary majority to take their seats. Tusk's government does not recognise the Tribunal's legitimacy and has refused to publish some of its rulings, citing controversial judicial appointments made under the previous PiS government. 7. Political reactions are escalating. PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński called on President Nawrocki to intervene, accusing Tusk's government of turning Poland into a police state. Nawrocki cancelled his trip to Senegal and announced that he is returning to Poland. Tusk, meanwhile, says restoring the rule of law is a difficult but necessary process. The situation is still developing. Both sides dispute the legality of the actions taken, and the legal authority behind the latest orders remains unresolved. Poland is now facing one of its most serious institutional confrontations in recent years. What happens next will depend on whether the two sides can resolve this dispute through legal and constitutional channels or whether the standoff escalates further. For now, Warsaw remains at the centre of a crisis that could have far-reaching consequences for the country's institutions and political future.

When Polish president was on international visit the pro EU junta centered around the prime minister attempted the coup. Nawrocki interrupted his scheduled visit and flew back back. Stay tuned....
Prezydent Nawrocki jest już w pałacu prezydenckim związku z sytuacją w kraju po siłowym wejściu do Trybunału Konstytucyjnego!
