Just a small snapshot of things that will be lost without a Teacher-Librarian. This is outside of my role of keeping the library tidy, returning books, and 3 teaching/support periods a day. These are the extra things that come from my ❤️, that I know make a difference in our LLC

Sending a virtual hug your way!!! ❤️

Kindergarten story time is my very favourite part of being a TL. I love the connection we make at the start of their careers as Tigers. Its a relationship that continues throughout their time at TJS. Today was my very last one as a TL. I will miss them💔
I cannot believe it’s the last month of school and the last month of Teacher-Librarians in our @HaltonDSB libraries! Holding this precious time left close to my ❤️ #oursafespace

As a thank you to the educators who continue to advocate for students' reading choice, I'm giving away 5 signed copies of THE CANYON'S EDGE for your classroom libraries, along with some signed postcards. RT/F to enter, and I'll select 5 winners by 6/2. Happy summer reading 📚🏜️💛

Completely 💔 to hear about @HaltonDSB removing TLs from libraries due to a lack of funding. The Library Learning Commons and TL are the heartbeat of the school. A sad day for school communities across our entire board!
