Receiving this letter from one of our lovely year 6s this morning actually made me cry a tear or two. I had this little girl in a class when she was 4 and now she’s ready for high school!

We seen the sun out and grabbed an opportunity to do some cloud spotting @sapsyear2
This week in year 2 we trialled a competition to enable a calmer lunchtime.
To earn points the children have to follow rules daily but can also loose points if a rule is broken.
The canteen has been left cleaner, we’ve had a lot less food waste and good behaviour🤩 @sapsyear2

Day three
Another wonderful school tour, pond dipping, activities with the children, clay and woodwork inspiration, dinner in the canteen and a lovely personalised gift from a child.

Day two
Lots of forest/ outdoor learning activities, making our own food, build a simple fire, a lovely meal with the Swedish teachers sharing information about our own schools and a whole lot of walking #inspired

A school visit, forest learning observations, lots of walking, Swedish meatballs and an evening exploring Lidköping all in -2 degrees but so worth it! @5tAndrews

This afternoon we were wild and wonderful in the woodwork. The children based their creations on a book called ‘Wild book day’. It was all then left to their imagination’s🔨 🌺 ✨

This week year 2 have been taking their coordinate skills outdoors to draw a grid out on the floor and creating their own. They then guided their blind folded partner to their chosen coordinate.
