A 19-year-old Eritrean migrant, Musa Salih, has been convicted of murdering 19-year-old Harley Purdue after stabbing him eight times during a failed robbery attempt in Chatham, Kent, England.
Salih lured Purdue into a communal basement, intending to lock him inside a toilet before stealing money from his bedroom.
However, when Purdue resisted being trapped, a violent confrontation erupted. Salih repeatedly stabbed the teenager eight times, inflicting fatal injuries.
Purdue's girlfriend attempted to intervene, but Salih also tried to injure her before fleeing the property and escaping the Medway area.
