Lucy Kon, BBC AWARD WINNING JOURNALIST , was victimised by her supposedly partial BBC colleagues for being ‘ Jewish’ and anti Hamas . Ms Kon says: “I saw footage of a kibbutz defender being shot in the head by a Hamas terrorist, then he got a knife out of his back pocket, cut his head off and held it up in his hand. And I’m being asked by a BNC colleague to think about what drives someone to do that?” As Jewish colleagues swapped stories of being called “Zios” and subjected to a stream of anti-Semitic comments, Ms Kon set up a support group for Jewish people at the BBC that led to a meeting with Mr Davie. He was presented with comments that had been made to Jewish staff, including Ms Kon, and a request for the BBC to refer to Oct 7 as a terrorist attack, which it had refused to do.
