Safe to say today was bittersweet. Lots of tears were shed but I know that you will continue to be a light in every persons life that has the opportunity to meet you. So so thankful that I got to help you navigate your first year of high school! Continue to be amazing🤍🥹

Last day of school with my favorite kiddos.🌞 Words could never explain how much I will miss being their teacher. They taught me more than I could have ever taught them. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to learn and grow alongside all of you. 🤍🤍🤍

Such a fun CBI trip to @Target & @Starbucks ! We started by grocery shopping in Target to get all of our favorite snacks! We practiced finding and paying for items. Then we ordered a delish cookie and ate at @Starbucks to complete our trip! He did an amazing job !!!!!

As a teacher my kids mean the absolute world to me. This email from a parent in response to the news that I am moving away gave me such a full heart as I know I did all that I intended to do when I set my heart on being a teacher. Such a bittersweet moment. I’ll miss them dearly

CBI to Twin Lakes this past week was amazing! We had a great time enjoying the weather while getting to explore!

Warm weather means fun on the @KirkSchoolNSSEO playground can resume!!! ☀️🚲

Room 107 is mourning the loss of one of our friends today. She unexpectedly passed away early this morning. Her personality and Sass was the always a highlight of our days. Her contagious smile and laugh could cure any bad day. Sending all the love & strength to her family. 🤍🤍

CBI to @petland was so much fun! Getting to see and engage with all different kinds of animals! Interesting to see what animals students did and did not like. 🦔🐟

We LOVE all the new additions to the sensory room at Camp SLOEC!! 🏕️ So nice to spend some time decompressing after all the activities!

Check out this student on his way to work!! Independently holding on to the spray bottle and rag! He goes from door to door to spray and wipe down the door handles! So proud of the growth and hard work this student has achieved 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Good company & good books 📚

We love visiting @palatinelibrary on our CBIs‼️ going to the library gives us the independence to explore, engage in choice making, and reflect on the books we read! 📚

All smiles when you finish your class work and get independent choice leisure 🤩

We had so much fun during literacy on Friday!!! We rotated between 3 different stations with the topic of discussion being the OCEAN🌊We read the News2you article about the ocean cleanup, answered comprehension questions, and compared examples of clean vs. dirty water!

Enjoying independent leisure on the iPad today!!

Cruising around school today 🚲 so proud of this student and his progress !

Loving this activity we did today during Literacy! ☃️

FELIZ NAVIDAD 🎶🎤 Music group with Ms. Angie always puts a smile on our faces!!! LOVE hearing this one sing😌

When being in the Gait trainer gives you the independence to sneak over to the teachers desk and turn on whatever you want 🤭
