I made an HTML form for game developers – a World Bible template.
It asks the questions that help you and your team actually understand the world of your game: cosmology, geography, technology, history, politics, economy, society, culture. 60 questions across 8 chapters.
The questions aren't mine – I gathered them from different sources across the internet and pulled them all together in one place.
Don't need a question? Collapse it. It just dims gray and drops out of the PDF – nothing is lost, and you can bring it back anytime. Answers are saved automatically in your browser; export/import the whole bible as JSON to move it between devices, or print it to PDF (A4).
It's called the World Bible, and it's a fairly universal version – it fits games of pretty much any genre.
Later I'll publish a similar one for character development.

The HTML file preview on Google Drive will probably just show you the HTML code, but once you download it, you’ll be able to open it in any browser without any problems.

Miro as a Game Dev Tool @MiroHQ
This is my first time using Miro as a planning board. It turned out to be an excellent tool for this kind of work. It’s incredibly convenient to keep all the photos, plans, and my notes in one place.
Recently, I got floor plans for two of the manor’s three floors. They were drawn for me by someone who knew the building very well back in the day. I made a few adjustments because there were some details he hadn’t accounted for, since he was drawing them from memory. I’ll still need to work on the scale, but that’s not particularly important at this stage.
And then came my favorite part. I had around 300 photos downloaded from the sanatorium’s VK groups, and I literally went room by room, trying to reconstruct the interiors based on those photos.
And it turned out to be much harder than it might seem. The photos were taken in different years, the rooms changed, and so did the interiors. Sometimes this confused the hell out of me. You think you’ve finally found photos of another room, start putting its interior together, and then notice some familiar stucco decoration on the ceiling and realize that it’s actually the same room, just after a renovation.
And those renovations were ALWAYS awful, completely stripping away the character of rooms that had looked genuinely beautiful before.
Unfortunately, I still can’t fully reconstruct the interiors. The second floor is currently about 70% done, while the first floor is nowhere near that. I haven’t even gotten to the third floor yet. I’m waiting for the floor plan.
Do you use Miro in your own game dev workflow? I’d love to hear how!
Still getting a small (but steady) stream of new wishlists, so I cropped out the numbers. Not that I’m hiding anything, but let’s not pay too much attention to the numbers haha
Instead, let’s look at what actually happened: updating the screenshots on my Steam page and launching my own website both gave my wishlist growth a pretty noticeable little boost, as you can clearly see in the screenshot.
Taking notes... 👀

🎉 My indie studio, Mistborn Games, finally has a website! mistborn.games
And yes, I’m ridiculously proud of that domain name lol
If you’ve been curious about Kolchanovo: The Manor, you can now learn more about the game, the real manor that inspired it, and the story behind the project!
I’m building this independently, so I’ll ask directly: please help me get the word out 🙏
Repost this, share the site, or send it to a friend who loves discovering indie games. Every share gives this project a chance to reach someone who might care about it.
Take a look and tell me what you think. I’d love to hear what catches your eye! 🖤

If you guys check the mobile version of the website, there’s a RU / EN language switch, but this thing is currently hidden in the “МЕНЮ+” (“MENU+”) tab in the right upper corner! Going to fix it tonight and move the language switch out. I didn’t know it was that hidden in the mobile version lol
Vibecoding the site for my company and game this #MarketingMonday.
Probably the best time for us indie devs to do something like this. I suggest you do the same!
This is just a screenshot of the rough version for now. Still a work in progress. The English version will also be available!

Finally forced myself to update the screenshots on my Steam page!
Paradoxically, this is always something I struggle to get around to. Maybe it’s just laziness, even though screenshots are probably one of the most important things on a Steam page, especially the first one, which creates the first impression of the game for potential players.
And I know I’m definitely not the only indie dev with this problem!
So go take a look at the updated screenshots 👀

Hollow playing SHOCKFACE was SOO SURREAL for us!
Watching someone we have followed for years sit down and enjoy our game... that is an incredible feeling.
Thank you so much, Hollow, for giving SHOCKFACE a shot and sharing it!
One of those moments we will remember for a VERY long time ❤️
PS: We heard your thoughts and changed the ending to reveal the killer 🔪
333 wishlists for my game so far! The link is in the bio if you want to check it out. I haven't updated the Steam page for a long while though.

For this #MarketingMonday, I wanted to share an interesting way to promote your game.
Try posting a free listing on classified websites or marketplaces like eBay, Avito (for the Russian audience), or similar platforms.
People can message you, save the listing to their favorites, and you can send them your Steam link directly.
Here are the stats from one of my listings since January this year:
• 3,200+ views in 9 full months;
• 60 people messaged me directly;
• 250 people added the listing to their favorites, which I consider potential wishlists.
Of course, a lot of people don't read the listing until the end and still ask me to mail them the physical game disc 😄 The disc on the cover was actually AI-generated just to make the listing more eye-catching.
Anyway, I feel like this is still a relatively untapped niche, so I thought it might be interesting to share!
