🚨This should really be a bigger story given the Vic Election is right around the corner.
Vic Labor just sold a property to Channel 9 for $1.1 Million for the 2027 series of The Block. The property is probably worth over $10 million, with 6.5 acres of land with city views and 3 very large heritage buildings.
This can't be right, and @VictorianLabor need to explain what is going on here.

Business confidence and conditions down.
Consumer confidence for renters, mortgage holders and homeowners all down.
House price forecasts being revised down even further.
Against the backdrop of persistent inflation, likely higher interest rates and rising bond yields.
A technical recession looking more likely.
But that isn’t the disappointing part of this story - corrections are normal and necessary.
It’s that our government’s been doing everything to avoid it while making the problems worse - pumping spending, immigration and public sector employment.
This approach has ultimately delivered weak investment, stagnant productivity and persistent inflation - leading to the likelihood of a deeper and longer recession than it would otherwise be.
The global factors at play are real, but so are our domestic policies - and our decisions can either better prepare us for, or further expose us to, the impacts from overseas.
I don’t think we’re well prepared for what’s to come.

I’m a retired brain surgeon and I wanna tell you why you feel like life is passing by. I just need one minute to explain this to you so hang in there.
Repetitive daily routines stop the brain from recording clear detailed memories. When every day looks the same, your brain does not track time the same as a clock does. It tracks change. If nothing new happens then days, months, and years start to blur together.
This is know as Time compression. When life lacks variety, your brain compresses past days together, making it feel like time is sped up.
To stop feeling like life is passing you by, add new experiences to your life. Break routine habits, like changing your daily home routine, taking a different route to work, or trying a new hobby.
Schedule small trips or plan new adventures so your days do not blend together.
Practice mindfulness by staying fully focused on what you are doing right now and not trying to race off to the next task.
Keep a journal and write down happy memories or memorable parts of the day before you go to sleep.
Take deep, calm breaths when you feel anxious or rushed to return your focus to the moment.
You can and you will retrain your brain to not feel like life is passing you by by following these few simple measures.

There’s a solid Korean bbq restaurant I always go to when I’m in Detroit. I text Si Woo, wanna grab dinner tonight at this place? He goes sure.
He searches the name of the restaurant on Google Maps, and without much thinking starts driving. But before it’s too late, he realizes that he’s about to go across the US border into Canada! There was a restaurant under the SAME NAME closer to him in Canada 😂
He doesn’t have a passport, just his wallet. He tries to turn back, but it’s already too late, it’s a one way and there are multiple signs telling him he can’t turn back.
He drives to the gate and talks to the officer. I’m driving to dinner with a friend, I came here by accident. The officer goes, ok don’t worry, happens all the time actually. But I can’t let you go back so you have to go across to Canada and then talk to the officers on the other side.
He drives across, waits in line for 45min. He finally gets to an officer and he tries to explain. He’s super nervous but tries to explain what happened. He points to his courtesy car and says I’m here for the golf tournament. This officer is not sure what to do so they drive the car to the side and calls another officer… then another… then another until 8!!! officers are surrounding his car and talking to him and each other. They check his cars for weapons, asks him if he has any drugs or weapons, stuff like that and they finally let him thru 😂😂😂.
Night ended with a nice kbbq dinner about 90 minutes later than we had originally planned.
