This is the real crisis: these sand dunes can potentially swallow many villages/towns in coastal areas. Trees like cactus and others are drought-resistant and can stop this. It is not expensive but needs mass mobilization. @TheVillaSomalia @SomaliPM you must not ignore this.
Houses sunk, hopes gone, struggling to live, and waving 👋 other to see them for the support. Here is Dhinawda, Mudug.
Can raise their voices please?

Unanswered questions:
*How many soldiers alive? How many dead? How did they die?
*Visuals show 2000 or less. Where are rest?
*Was there a process to verify/ID those at parade?
*No basic military training takes 3 years. So, what happened?

Images of Somali soldiers looking derelict in a foreign land shocking.
States send recruits to train in foreign lands. Trainees kept well, allowed to contact family. No non-specialised training takes 3 years.
The clandestine training in Eritrea was big strategic mistake.
If the trained Somali soldiers in Eritrea were enlisted on a false permise(that they were being taken to Qatar to help gaurd the World Cup), they have the right to leave the Army as soon as they arrive. Joining the Army is voluntary. And people should join it on their own accord.
The secrecy surrounding their enlisting was shameful. It is incorrect to claim all these are potential soldiers. Only those who remain in the Army after arrival can be called soldiers. I have the feeling up to half of these or two-third will abandon the Army in 6 months.

Why business registration in #Somalia is too expensive? Rwanda-free! Kenya-$100 and Somalia-$300 and more associated costs.
The Egyptian and the Turkish banks that were given licences to operate in Somalia are big in their respective countries, but both of them are wholly state-owned. Why a private one was not allowed to operate in the country?
Sheekada Fahad Yaasiin maanta keenay waa wax lagu qoslo.😁. Caqligaa diidaaya hadalkiisa. War dadka wax macquul ah u sheeg Fahadoow.
Fahad Yasin, the former intelligence chief, did not disclose anything new in his interview, nor did I expect any disclosure. It surely was, as far as I could discern, a PR exercise. Not the grilling he would have received, if @HarunMaruf interviewed him.
Farmaajo administration xoolaha umadda wuu xafiday bey dhahaay kaadiriinta N&N, laakiin madaxtooyadii deyn baa lagu yeeshay sidey iyagu qirteen. Lacagtii miisaaniyada uga soo aaday aawey? No accountability I am afraid
If @HassanSMohamud administration secures the Capital and the 2 shabelle regions surrounding it in his four year term, his presidency will be deemed success. If he, on top of that, finalizes the debt forgiveness and completes the constitution, that would be a bonus 👍 ... 1 /
