Stick to drilling wells.
While you’re at it, sell the team.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on the criticism of him not paying top dollar for coaches: “I drill wells. I have five wells going right now that cost more than any coach.”

Here’s a thread of all the PL clubs online fanbases ranked by how insufferable they are because I’m bored 👍🏻. (1st being most insufferable, 20th being least)
Does the fact the jury in the #RussellBrandtrial were able to return mixed verdicts asuage those concerned about the ability of defendants to have a fair trial in the digital SM age? Do the mixed verdicts also show how seriously juries take their duties thus underlining their importance

“They didn’t even interview him” isn’t the problem. As Bobby and others have pointed out that a coach like Ben Johnson was never going to happen.
Now why is that? THAT is the issue. If top coaches already cross the Cowboys job off their list, that should be explored.

If someone wanted to criticize the perception of the organization as the reason they couldn't get an interview, that's worth discussing. But we both know the vast majority of criticism over this has been "THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK" when they already knew the answer.
Of all the things that didn't happen, this didn't happen the most. Total horlicks.
I had two plumbers in today fixing my boiler, one in his fifties and a 16-year-old apprentice.
They spotted my Reform beer mat and we got chatting. The young lad said, ‘All my mates from college are voting Reform. We can’t wait. We’ve had enough.’
He spoke about immigration, employment prospects and why he didn’t want to attend university because of its left-wing culture. The older chap shared concerns about immigration and the future for his children.
Don’t underestimate the youth of today. They’re paying attention, asking questions and forming their own opinions.
Get out and talk to people. You’ll learn far more than you will in an X echo chamber.

Do you know what today is a good day for?
It’s a good day to wander over to Amazon, search for Skills of Modern Advocacy and then press “Buy Now”.
It’s got 5 stars*

Question for #CowboysNation do you think it will get better when Jerry departs? With Stephen the heir apparent, why do you think it would get better? Personally I think Stephen will annoint himself GM because he trusts the process, or whatever the hell that means.

I like Tomlin. Keep Parker as DC and upgrade Klayton Adams as your play caller.
And so say all of us #CowboysNation #SackSchotty time to send the Spanish Archer down to the Star @1053SS @BobbyBeltTX
This really annoys me, he trots down there with his other little Jones' plodding behind. What does he hope to achieve by going to the locker room after a game? What is the point? Has he ever considered the impact this has kn coaches and players? Do any other owners do this?

Villa 1 - Fulham 1
Passive and lethargic performance. Flat atmosphere.
When we failed to capitalise on Fulham passing the ball to Manzambi in the area early on and the McGinn penalty miss, you kind of felt we wouldn’t win.
We’ve seen this type of performance in past times, I don’t know what it is - maybe the players are thinking of Barca?
We play too many long balls and lack control in the centre, which is concerning against Fulham. When we played ball to feet, especially in attacking areas, they closed us down and used their strength incredibly well - this is one of the things that Glasners Palace did so well against us, and something we don’t really have a solution for.
The subs came 10 minutes too late, maybe with them on before conceding we could have taken a bit control. Zion is known to have a mistake in him, but his pro’s far weigh out his cons, felt bad for him, it was like a millimetre over the line. He shouldn’t have had to be as busy as he was.
I’m pretty sure if the game had the same atmosphere as we had against Man City, things may have been different.
Very disappointed we couldn’t get the win, lucky to get a draw, at least we didn’t lose.
