The path to #ClimateJustice travels through a #FreePalestine 🍉🌻
We call on our communities fighting for climate justice to see this as our struggle and demand that we cut military funding to Israel, and begin the process of demilitarization so that we can all be free.

Gaza is not for sale. Palestine is not for sale. Trump's recent outrageous statement is yet another colonial land grab—one that mirrors the theft of Indigenous lands worldwide. From Turtle Island to Palestine, settler states exploit, displace, and destroy in the name of profit and power. Yet oppressed people unite and resist against colonialism. We stand with Palestinians relatives and all others around the world resisting genocide, environmental destruction, and colonial violence. Land is not a commodity—it is life, memory, and future.

Salting is an organizing tactic in which a person gets a job at a specific workplace with the goal of unionizing their coworkers. It’s an old strategy that’s coming back in a big way, from Starbucks to Amazon.

A new generation of young, diverse, fired-up worker-organizers around the country are embracing one of the oldest tactics in the pro-union handbook: salting.
My latest for @TeenVogue, with thanks to @jazbrisack @_ericblanc @RankAndFileProj for their insights! (Link in reply)

🚨Dublin-based ASL has said that both its French and Belgian airlines won't carry munitions to Israel🚨
'Therefore, we can now state "unequivocally and without reservation" that ITAR – (meaning International Traffic in Arms Regulations) – freight is not and will not be carried on any ASL airline to Israel, this includes ASL Airlines (Ireland), ASL Airlines (France), ASL Airlines (Belgium) and finally ASL Airlines (UK) which does not operate to Israel.
After repeated protests at its Swords office following reports of its munitions flights on The Ditch, ASL had issued a carefully worded statement last month.
Though it pledged to stop delivering munitions to Israel, the company used a subsidiary company to continue transporting such packages to the Israel Defense Forces.
In its most recent statement, ASL said, 'At the time we could only speak about our own airline, ASL Airlines (Ireland), and our decision was made to address staff concerns in the airline.'

Deborah Doane: The book is a rallying cry for change... the foundation of INGOs was built on good motivations... as we move into 1990s, professionalism started to replace ideas of solidarity... COVID highlighted the short comings of the INGOs... The failures are systemic.

The INGO has formal and informal systems that reflect western supremacy... knowledge centres from western institutions form the basis of policy... The language of the INGO is English, other languages don't have the jargons that INGOs understand

The INGO is a system whose success is measured by funds raised and not work done... waste of resources by INGOs is easily forgiven compared to waste of resources by local orgs... The dominance of INGOs perpetuates the further dominance of INGOs

One way to slip under the radar in authoritarian countries is to organize around local issues that are not explicitly political—like affordable housing.
