Americans see government corruption at historic levels. Roger Marshall owes Kansans answers. Gallup finds 89% of Americans believe government corruption is widespread, a record in its 20-year trend, including 83% of Republicans. Fox News finds 88% of registered voters are extremely or very concerned about government corruption. The American Prospect reports that Marshall-backed legislation could benefit companies connected to longtime donor and business partner Dan Tasset, including agricultural companies in which Marshall’s wife holds investments. Those overlapping public duties and private interests deserve scrutiny. End Citizens United has requested a Senate ethics investigation into alleged misuse of taxpayer-paid staff and travel for campaign purposes. Its complaint cites nearly $23,000 in New York travel that coincided with $119,900 in contributions. It also questions approximately $4,000 in travel connected to his Sugar Bowl visit, with Sarasota stops where he had a vacation home. Marshall’s campaign says he complies with applicable laws and rules. Kansans deserve an independent investigation and a public accounting. Public office is a public trust. Americans’ concerns about government corruption are reaching historic levels. Gallup finds 89% of Americans say government corruption is widespread, a record in its 20-year trend. An October Fox News poll finds 88% of registered voters are extremely or very concerned about corruption, including 60% who are extremely concerned. Corruption ranked above inflation among the issues tested. Kansans deserve answers about Roger Marshall’s taxpayer-funded travel. End Citizens United’s ethics complaint cites $3,950.20 in combined travel reimbursements for Marshall and aide John Martin, covering itineraries that included New Orleans during the Sugar Bowl trip. Marshall’s itinerary went through Sarasota, Florida, both before and after New Orleans. The group questions the official purpose of the New Orleans stop and has requested a Senate ethics investigation. Taxpayers deserve an explanation and accountability. Kansans for Marshall Finance Team member and Roger’s longtime business partner is the subject of the in-depth business investigations @TheProspect released today also has an arrest history. Outpatient Surgery reported Dan Tasset’s 2007 lewd-conduct charge. It quoted a Johnson County DA spokesman describing witnesses seeing an SUV occupant “masturbating.” Tasset pleaded not guilty and said he was changing clothes. Final disposition unverified. 1/2 Dan Tasset, Roger Marshall’s longtime business partner and financial backer, was listed on the 2019 Kansans for Marshall Kansas Finance Team, according to the Great Bend Tribune. KCTV5 reported Tasset’s arrest on a lewd-conduct charge in 2007. Outpatient Surgery Newsletter quoted a prosecutor’s spokesman saying patrons “could see an individual in a dark-colored SUV masturbating.” Tasset pleaded not guilty and said he was changing clothes. The final court disposition has not been verified. Today, The American Prospect published two investigations tracing Marshall and Tasset’s business partnership to 1998. THE POTENTIAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST Marshall helps write federal policies affecting industries in which his household has investments linked to a major political backer. That gives the relationship three overlapping dimensions: POLITICAL SUPPORT The Prospect reports $218,000+ in individual donations from Nueterra employees and subsidiaries, including $47,600 from Tasset, plus a separate $100,000 from a Tasset-affiliated company to a pro-Marshall super PAC. Together: more than $318,000 in reported network-linked support. That is not Tasset’s personal contribution total. HOUSEHOLD FINANCIAL INTERESTS The Prospect reports $410,923–$1,749,500 in income to Marshall’s wife from a Tasset-linked property fund during 2015–2019. It also reports her 3% interest in NCM Bioscience Partners, with holdings in NewLeaf Symbiotics and Vestaron valued at $1,000–$15,000 and $15,000–$50,000, respectively. These are separate categories: campaign support, fund income and investment values. POLICYMAKING THAT COULD BENEFIT THOSE INTERESTS Official Senate bill text lists Marshall as an original cosponsor of a 2025 bill easing certain physician-owned hospital restrictions and allowing expansion of existing facilities—policies relevant to Tasset’s business. The Prospect’s agriculture investigation makes the household connection more direct: Marshall has promoted biostimulant policies involving regulatory changes and proposed federal assistance while his wife holds investments in companies operating in that sector. If relevant policies lower a company’s costs, expand its market or help it obtain funding, investors could benefit. That is why the household’s ownership matters, even if a policy also has legitimate public benefits. This does not establish bribery or a donation-for-legislation agreement. It raises a concrete question about divided financial interests: how does Marshall ensure his decisions serve the public when his family could also benefit? The Prospect also reports that Marshall’s son worked for Tasset-linked businesses. Senate records separately document a paid internship for a Tasset relative in Marshall’s office. Those employment ties add to the relationship; they do not by themselves establish wrongdoing. Marshall’s campaign told The Prospect he complies with applicable laws and rules. Compliance does not answer every question about how potential conflicts are managed. Hospital consequences, the earlier court record and full sources follow in 2/2. #KsSen #KsLeg #Election #Corruption #Ethics #ConflictOfInterest #Vote

2/2 WHY THE HOSPITAL RECORD MATTERS KFF Health News documented Noble Health’s closure of Audrain and Callaway hospitals in Missouri in March 2022. Its reporting identified Tasset as a director in a Missouri corporate filing and examined Nueterra’s corporate connections to Noble. KFF also reported nearly $20 million in federal COVID relief, unpaid bills and workers whose insurance deductions continued even though their benefits were not being funded. One ultrasound technologist reported facing $250,000–$300,000 in medical bills. In 2023, KFF reported Labor Department interim findings seeking $5.4 million to cover unpaid employee health claims. That was not a final personal judgment against Marshall or Tasset. The Prospect does not establish that Marshall profited from the failed hospitals themselves. The relevance is scrutiny of judgment and relationships: a senator advocating for rural health care has longstanding investment, fundraising and family connections to a business network associated with serious hospital failures. THE SEPARATE WORKPLACE RECORD A 2016 federal court order recounts an email informing Tasset about harassment and alleged retaliation involving another physician at a Nueterra-managed surgery center. His response sought financial statements and projections without specifically addressing that physician’s behavior. The order addressed pretrial motions, not a final verdict establishing every allegation. THE MEDICAL-DEBT COMPARISON The Student Borrower Protection Center, quoting Sarah Kliff’s New York Times investigation, described 700+ patient lawsuits filed by Marshall, arrests in 81 cases for missed court appearances, and routine 18% annual interest charges. That supports a political comparison about financial accountability for patients, employers and investors. It does not establish that Marshall directed Noble’s conduct. Kansans deserve an explanation of how Marshall manages these overlapping interests—and whether he has taken steps to separate his household’s financial interests from his public duties. Republican Secretary of State candidate Pat Proctor and parts of his aligned faction of KSGOP election conspiracy wing are getting louder as Election Day approaches. They’re sowing doubt in elections overseen by members of their own party. Making posts on social media specifically about rigged machines in Johnson County without evidence or sources. “Bandaid on a bullet hole.” Farmers want markets, not handouts. Certainty, not half baked promises. They need dependable buyers, affordable fuel and fertilizer, and the ability to plan beyond the next political announcement. Nick Levendofsky raises concerns about payments going to the largest corporate farms while smaller farms remain uncertain about how assistance will reach them and when. That uncertainty is the problem. Farmers can’t plan next season around vague promises. Another temporary payment leaves the root problems of lost markets, rising costs and unpredictable policy unaddressed. @FoxNews’s October poll found 88% of voters very or extremely concerned about government corruption. Corruption ranked highest among the issues tested. Rebuilding trust takes answers, accountability and results. “No political games”? Ty Masterson is the king of political obstruction. Koch backed AFP is spinning up a false narrative again. Under Masterson’s leadership, the Senate has blocked Medicaid expansion and medical marijuana, policies supported by about 70% of Kansans. He’s pushed constitutional amendments voters rejected and backed private school subsidies while public schools fight for funding. He’s spent more than 20 years in Topeka. Yet his Republican supermajority ended this year’s session without a property tax deal. Now he wants a promotion based on another promise to fix it. Cindy Holscher proposes lowering the residential property assessment rate and fully funding special education to ease pressure on local taxpayers. Those are concrete proposals addressing the bills Kansas families actually pay. Masterson’s record speaks louder than his advertising. The choice is clear. We fixed their ad for him. #ksleg #ksed #Vote

Last year, Roger Marshall told Kansas employers to trust Trump to help undocumented immigrant workers gain legal status, including the possibility of amnesty. Now he uses “amnesty” as a tool to invoke division and fear. That is hypocrisy. In August 2025, Marshall acknowledged that Kansas agriculture, manufacturing and construction depend on immigrant workers. He predicted Trump could address their legal status after the 2026 midterms. Marshall even explained that Trump “gets to define a lot of things, including what amnesty looks like, right?” When Trump considers legalization, Marshall presents it as a practical workforce solution. When he attacks Hamilton, amnesty becomes a threat to the country. At the October 19 rally, Marshall linked immigration and amnesty to frightening claims about radical Islam and France’s unrest. Trump followed with rhetoric disparaging American immigrants, including citizens, based on their ancestry and background. Marshall knows immigrant workers help keep Kansas businesses running. He acknowledged the economic consequences of removing them. Yet when his reelection campaign needed a boost, he helped promote fear of immigrant communities. His prediction about action after the election remains untested. His double standard is already on display. Marshall asked employers to trust his judgment of Trump. His earlier assurances look badly misplaced. His decision to fall in line with this divisive rhetoric is his own responsibility. Hamilton’s actual position deserves to be heard. He has criticized the Biden administration’s border policies, called for immigration laws to be enforced and urged both parties to deliver lasting reform. His criticism of the southwest Kansas ICE operations focused on the lack of coordination with local authorities and the disruption to families, schools, businesses and agriculture. As Hamilton put it: “Kansans expect our immigration laws to be enforced. But we also expect each person to be treated with dignity and respect.” Marshall acknowledged that Kansas needs immigrant workers and a solution to their legal status. Hamilton is calling for Washington to work together on that same challenge. Kansans deserve solutions from their senator, not a different set of principles depending on the audience. Kansas doesn’t owe anyone a Senate seat. Trump came to Kansas to defend Roger Marshall in a race he says “shouldn’t be” close. Meanwhile, the longest serving Republican Governor in Kansas history, Gov. Bill Graves is backing Adam Hamilton. Kansans deserve a senator who earns our trust, brings people together and puts our state first. Watch Graves explain why he’s crossing party lines. #kskeg #kssen #vote

Roger Marshall wants you to foot the bill and thank him for the privilege. His medical practice sued more than 700 patients over unpaid bills and charged 18% interest. Patients were arrested in 81 collection cases for missed court appearances. He understood perfectly well that unpaid bills have consequences. Then he voted to cut Medicaid and food assistance and repeatedly opposed efforts to halt Trump’s Iran war. Last night in Kansas, Trump said: “We could leave right now.” Meanwhile, that war has helped drive up gasoline, diesel, energy and transportation costs, putting more pressure on grocery prices and family budgets. Now Trump is easing sanctions and making a diesel deal with Putin, while Russia has reportedly supplied Iran with intelligence to target American forces. Rewarding Putin under those circumstances betrays our allies and our own troops. Marshall demanded payment when Kansans owed him money. Now his decisions are adding to our bills while cutting the help struggling families depend on. And apparently, we should thank him because we “get to” pay. Kansans deserve better. 🔥 Bob Dole’s immigration message thirty years ago and Adam Hamilton’s position today share a common foundation: enforce immigration laws, respect human dignity and bring Americans together. 🇺🇸 Accepting the Republican presidential nomination, Dole affirmed America’s right to control its borders and opposed unlawful immigration. He also said a Mexican family arriving legally that morning had the same right to the American Dream as descendants of the Founding Fathers. Dole insisted that the Republican Party welcome citizens of every race and religion. To those who rejected that principle, he declared that the exits were clearly marked. He stood with the party of Lincoln, without compromise on inclusion. Hamilton’s own words reflect that balance: “Kansans expect our immigration laws to be enforced. But we also expect each person to be treated with dignity and respect.” His statement criticized both the Biden’s administration handling of the border and the disruption caused by ICE operations in southwest Kansas under Trump. He described the consequences for families, schools, businesses and agriculture, then called for lasting, bipartisan immigration reform. “Neither party has been able to solve this on their own. It’s past time Washington ended the chaos and actually worked together to solve problems for Kansas families.” That willingness to work across party lines also echoes Dole, who said that “honorable compromise is no sin” and described it as protection against absolutism and intolerance. Last night near Wichita, Trump described millions of migrants as “totally incompatible with the West,” mocked an American Muslim candidate’s name and disparaged American immigrants from Somalia as arriving with “low IQs and no money.” Marshall portrayed France’s unrest as a consequence of immigration policies and capitulation to “radical Islam,” warning that America could burn next. He offered no evidence establishing that explanation. French authorities categorically deny those sentiments. Reuters described protests over living costs and underfunded public services that descended into rioting and looting. That rhetoric encourages Americans to view entire communities with suspicion. Dole warned against dividing us into factions. Remembering World War II, he described the blood of immigrants’ sons and enslaved people’s grandsons as equally American. Shared sacrifice transcended ancestry. He asked Americans to defend that unity against the urge to divide. Dole also emphasized equal opportunity and equal protection under the Constitution. Immigrants within this country have constitutional protections, including due process and equal protection. Enforcing immigration laws does not erase those safeguards. A vote for Adam Hamilton is a vote for the ideals and vision Senator Dole shared with the nation: lawful immigration, human dignity, equal opportunity and a country united across our differences. A vote for Roger Marshall rewards the politics of division that Dole warned against. Dole firmly told those holding that exclusionary outlook to leave the party of Lincoln that night. 1/6 Marshall beats Trump on lie, false statement rate 30 false, misleading or unsupported claim groups in roughly 110 minutes. That is the current tally from Roger Marshall’s and Donald Trump’s October 19 speeches in Park City, near Wichita. This is the core list reviewed so far. Additional review could identify more. Related statements are grouped together, and claims repeated by both speakers are counted separately for each speaker. *To be fair, Trump meandered with unrelated stories and was interrupted nearly a dozen times so his lie rate is not as high as Marshall’s. Marshall: 9 flagged claim groups in about 11 minutes 0.82 per minute, or one every 1 minute, 13 seconds. Trump: 21 flagged claim groups in about 98 minutes 0.21 per minute, or one every 4 minutes, 40 seconds. COMBINED: 30 in approximately 110 minutes roughly one every 3 minutes, 40 seconds.
