In a joint operation, the IDF, Israel Border Police, and the ISA apprehended a cell of Israeli smugglers near the western border after they were identified by IDF observation posts. Following a pursuit, three suspects were arrested, and off-road vehicles and drone equipment used in the smuggling attempt were seized. The suspects were transferred to the Israel Police for further processing.

A crash involving nearly 60 vehicles in Central California's Tulare County forced the closure of Highway 99 in both directions at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. At least 10 people were taken to a local hospital.
