One of the most hideous disservices a parent can do is allow a child to grow up thinking the world should shape itself around their desires and proclivities.
We see adults who act that way as entitled pricks.
It's NOT 'letting kids be kids'. It's teaching them to be monsters.

If I sell two more books I'll double what I made last month as a new author.
Help a brutha out, and share this!
...or buy a book yourself... whatever
“Patch Notes: Apocalypse is a gritty land-Odyssey across a cryptid-filled world of adventure, with more action at every turn and surprisingly serious, mysterious depths. It's exactly what I want to read.”

Here's a great example of how we've COMPLETELY screwed up our understanding of "The Word of God" by using "Word" for Logos and conflating it with scripture:
The Logos is alive, guys. The graphe is awesome, but it isn't Jesus.

Yes. And many spirits move in and on the hearts of men. The words of the book give us a living comparison to test the spirits. Are we walking in the flesh? Let’s search the letters to the Galatians and the Ephesians to see? His word is true and sharper than a 2-edged sword.
The Bible is *NOT* the 'word of God.'
Jesus is the Word of God.
The Bible is the scripture, all of which is God breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
There actually IS a difference, and it matters.

Example: Ephesians 6:17 "the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God"
People say: "That's the Bible."
Wrong. The sword of the Spirit is the rhēma (The spoken word of God, spoken BY God.)
The Bible is the graphé (The scripture)
Satan can use the graphé, but not the rhēma

Normal people don't know what postliberal means.
They think 'liberal' means leftist.
Normal people don't spend that much time thinking about politics except to grumble about the economic trickle-down effects that make their life difficult.

I know spending money on a new/unknown author is risky, but I also know I wrote something worth reading.
So, today and tomorrow you can get Patch Notes: Apocalypse completely FREE on Kindle.
Help me give away as many copies of my book as possible!

Joel just called me a cruel, out of touch racist who wants to kill Grandma.
😭
The problem with fixing $20 burritos is every actual solution will get you called heartless.
Eliminate minimum wage? Cruel.
Cut entitlements and national debt? You want to kill grandma.
Mass deportations? Racist.
Teach people to be frugal? Out of touch.
The only “winning” political message will always be the Leftist proposal which usually amounts to “raise minimum wage to 1000/hr, start a U.S. Burrito Department, and give everyone a free burrito voucher,” which, by the way, is how you end up with a $150 burrito.
Welcome to conservatism. You’re the adult, and the “bad guy,” in the room. Get used to it and start showing the political courage to actually fix this stuff.
Spoon, if I could take this off down a slightly different path... (hence the quote tweet)
I think your conception of the 'fiat system and global economy' is missing something.
That system *can* adapt to Bitcoin. It will just favor corporate interests over nation states.

Do you know what their investment is?
The fiat system and global economy.
I mean it’s fucking BlackRock dumbass.
Their interest in Bitcoin is solely because it’s an exit from the system they own.
