incase it wasn't obvious, all the NFTs that pivoted away from their NFTs as the central asset, launched memecoins, ghosted to web2 are being proven wrong by BAYC in 4D that you can't make a sustainable business out of a web3 brand.
They are creating revenue streams off their new products in a thoughtful way that is keeping their NFT assets as the center of the ecosystem and their holders sharing in the upside.
They are utilizing their community creators and superfans in their marketing attack and growing an ecosystem with novel products that are not possible in web2 (physical/digital blockchain TCG, token gated Club experiences and merch, Otherside/Metaverse interoperability).
Masterclass imo
Thank you to @imjameshall for personally updating raffle mechanics to include delegated wallets after my post.
Seriously, this club slaps. 💙
Dear @mfigge, @0xQuit, @pm0721, @imjameshall
Can we please get delegate on this? My delegated wallet works for the @BoredApeYC mudwater packs claim but not entering this raffle.
I don’t think having to link to my vault is a good approach. TY 🙏💙🙏

I think @BoredApeYC mainly, not only, grew initially because people wanted to be in the COMMUNITY.
They wanted the connections and flex of being in an online social club where family was synonymous with owning an ape.
Reasons to buy a @BoredApeYC Mudwater pack:
1) You played the game online and genuinely enjoy it.
2) You like the idea of socializing with apes on @OthersideMeta via the game.
3) You view it as a cheap way to experience the club and community.
4) You like TCG collecting.
This has been my concern since the game dropped. A few solutions I’ve pondered:
1) Allow online games to not require an ante.
2) Tournament rewards only for participating regardless of winning.
3) AI system detects bots or bot-help based on win percentage
IRL > Online = best
If you think botted mints are bad, imagine trying to compete against AI Agents in games. I use to think Pay-to-Win was the biggest issue @OthersideMeta would face for Web2 adoption. I now believe it's AI Agents used to farm and play the upcoming resource game and Mudwater TCG by @BoredApeYC.
Hope I'm wrong but there are prominent community members already bragging about training their agents to "play" these games. In Otherside you'll risk your resources and in the TCG you'll risk losing actual cards via ANTE (play for keeps) to someone who likely spun up 20 agents playing both games simultaneously.
I get not everyone has all day to farm or play these, but that's like allowing cars or bikes to "run" the Boston Marathon because someone couldn't workout or train for the race. Doesn't make sense does it?
I'm sure @mfigge, @imjameshall, and @pm0721 are thinking about this issue as well, but I would love to hear the community's thoughts on what they think is the best path forward for these experiences and AI.
PS: Not meant to be FUD as I'm still very bullish on what's to come, just my thoughts on the bots! 🤖
Mudwater Packs from @BoredApeYC finally claimed. Been awhile since I used the ol ledger or had to bridge/swap eth/sol/usdc.
Kinda surprised how easy and cheap swapping and bridging has become.
Tonight…we rip some packs!
This whole @osseneth and 6529 debate reminds me of something DZ Phillips used to say when people would reply back “well, what’s the alternative” after one of his critiques.
DZ would note his job as a philosopher was solely to deconstruct the argument’s underlying premises. 1/3
This obviously pissed people off. But DZ wasn’t trying to ragebait. He was trying to get people to interrogate their viewpoints fully.
He didn’t care if people maintained their beliefs afterwards. He just wanted to show where the gaps in logic existed. 2/3
Player 1 beat Oracle 5–4 in Mudwater.

Seen a lot of unnecessary takes on the Timeline about @BoredApeYC ApeFest and TCGs.
1. The $8 fee for ripping a pack. That’s a nominal fee especially when the cards are physically stored in a warehouse.
2. Don’t want to spend $8? Keep the pack and earn revenue from it instead of crying about a free pack airdrop on the Timeline.
3. People who attended ApeFest at Beeple Studios got a booster box for free so every Ape holder should get one airdropped to them? I mean, what kind of e-begging is this? People who spent their own money and time on flights, hotels and much more got one box for free as a gift and appreciation for attending Apefest.
People with a sense of entitlement in this space are the main reason why so many projects and marketplaces are shutting down. They’re unable to generate enough revenue to sustain their business models.
Not to mention, none of the other projects that launched their TCGs gave away cards or booster boxes for free to their communities or holders. And when you get them for free, you still complain about it?
One thing I’ve accepted is that no matter what Apes do for people, they will always find something to complain about.
Personally, my first ApeFest was in Hong Kong and none of the projects that hosted side events during 2023 were anywhere to be found at ApeFest at Beeple Studios.
This was by far the best ApeFest I’ve attended. I went with my brother as my +1 and now he’s looking to buy an Ape because of the people he met and the connections he made at ApeFest.
That’s the kind of value BAYC brings to the table.
Bored Ape Yacht Club.
Weird that when I lose to the Oracle in Mudwater by @BoredApeYC I can tweet about it, but when I win the option wasn’t available.
All the same, here’s proof and no ai assistance.
See apefest post, like apefest post. It’s that simple.
Glad the @BoredApeYC community is having a blast celebrating in-person together.
And, can’t wait to watch a video of @mfigge giving the club update. When he talks, I tend to listen.
