Two critical PHP vulnerabilities, known as PHP2Shell, were disclosed yesterday 🔓  The flaw is in PHP itself, so it can affect nearly every #WordPress site, even ones with updated plugins and themes. The only fix is to update the server to a patched version 🧵

Users with vulnerability alerts enabled got a notification yesterday 🔔 Wait, alerts for PHP too? Yes, Modular DS flags vulnerabilities in PHP and the database, not just WordPress core, plugins, and themes. We also emailed everyone with more context and recommended steps.
