started crying again thinking about how excited I am to drive out to rural county parties who for years I’ve been telling to trust the plan and keep pushing and how many of them are going to be represented by democrats in congress now for the first time in a lifetime.

I’m thrilled about Tuesday’s victories, but I need Democrats to understand something: winning a majority means nothing if you don’t do a damn thing with it.
The party has a habit of receiving a mandate from voters and then getting complacent. That cannot happen again.
Operate like you’re always one election away from losing your jobs. Don’t save the biggest priorities for the eleventh hour. Get to work, move quickly, and deliver tangible results.
And when Trump stands in the way of what Americans need, make it abundantly clear who’s responsible. Since the man wants his name plastered on everything, we might as well make sure he gets the credit for obstruction, too.
The goal isn’t just to win elections. It’s to make people’s lives better with the power they’ve entrusted to you.
Celebrate the wins, then get your asses to work.

Today I’m pouring one out for all the failed Republicans who tried to gerrymander our nation because Trump told them to! They pretty much all lost LOL. They sat behind their desks in state capitols and laughed when people showed up in droves to speak out against them. They thought they had unlimited power to please Donny T at will, and drew special districts for themselves behind closed doors, truly believing it would land them under the marble dome in dc. Repeatedly they showed their utter contempt for us, the American people. Many were looking for homes already in Washington. The Republican realtors were busy. Instead, YOU CRUSHED THEIR DREAMS. YOU MADE THEM UNEMPLOYED! THEIR DRUNKEN LUST FOR POWER DOESN’T RUN AMERICA, WE DO. The brutal irony is the fact they’ll now enter the very job market they destroyed with their terrible economic policies. May the traitors forever be treated with contempt for their betrayal of our country for a man who wouldn’t spit on them if they were on fire.
