Glad to share that the research work I did during my PhD at @uni_tue has been published in the Journal of the American Heart Association @JAHA_AHA . In this paper, we show that age-associated changes in ECs correlate with elevated risk of stroke.

@Stagecoach_Ox We have complained so many times but no response. Almost every single day, the bus 2A towards Oxford city centre is either cancelled or delayed massively, significantly affecting people during their peak office hours.
This problem is worse daily between 8-9:30 am.

I am currently sitting in VFS Goswell Road. I booked an appointment at 11:00 - 11:15 and scheduled my day accordingly. My turn hasn't come yet and there are dozens ahead of me. Can you please have respect for someone's time ? Disgusting service.
Apparently the VFS manager has thrown the ball to @HCI_London 's court telling me that they keep approving many-many times more appointment than VFS can handle.
You do realise how painful it is everytime one has to interact with anything involving Indian Govt.
The Indian babus sitting in London @HCI_London as well as the @VFSGlobal - both have no respect for people's time, commitments and inconvenience caused due to their pathetic system.
If you ever wanted to see peak unprofessionalism, this is it.
@VFSGlobal @vfsglobalcare is one of the MOST DISHONEST businesses I have ever come across. They added the SMS fee without my consent or even informing me about it. It was added keeping me in dark.
The issue is NOT £1.67 - the issue is DISHONESTY.
And, I didnt even receive SMS.
@HCI_London : Why are you not cracking down on these unethical business practice by @VFSGlobal ? As a customer, should I NOT be informed of "optional" SMS charges ? Again, it is NOT about £1.67. It is about keeping customers in dark and unethical practices.

موضع ما کاملاً مشخص است و اوکراین بارها، از جمله اخیراً، آن را اعلام کرده است. حفظ جان انسان‌ها تا حد امکان مهم است. جلوگیری از گسترش جنگ مهم است. مهم است که ایالات متحده قاطعانه عمل می کند. هر زمان که آمریکا مصمم باشد، جنایتکاران جهانی تضعیف می‌شوند. این درک باید به روس‌ها نیز برسد.
مردم نمی‌توانند روز یا ساعت را بدانند، اما هر عمل شیطانی، تروریستی و تجاوز علیه همسایگان در نهایت با پاسخی عادلانه روبرو می‌شود. ما انتظار داریم که بالاخره منطقه خاورمیانه امن‌تر و باثبات‌تر شود. در حال حاضر تغییرات زیادی در جهت آن هدف رخ داده است.
اوکراین آماده است تا به هر ملتی کمک کند تا امنیت و عدالت افزایش یابد و رژیم‌های تروریستی کاهش یابند.

Today the driver of the bus 2A (direction Oxford) departed while my wife was already on the stairs to the upper deck. This is dangerous.
@Stagecoach_Ox This is not a one time incident but has been happening quite frequently now.
The announcement system rightly tells passengers to remain seated until the bus comes to a complete halt. Then why not also ensure drivers don't start until people have taken seats ?

My wife purchased 2 day passes on the bus today morning (£9.60). She paid for the tickets, however the bus driver kept insisting that payment was not going through and she had to pay 3 times (3 x 9.60) (contactless).

However, now we see that there are 3 transactions of £9.60 deducted from her bank account.
How to get back 2 extra payments of £9.60 that was deducted inadvertently ?
Whether it is an incompetent, ill-trained and clueless police/bureaucracy.... or the elected leadership that has surrendered to mobs for political reason.... or a combination of both.... the harsh reality is that Indian systems cannot deal with a violent, thuggish mob.

What is the specialist training of the lower-rank state police force to deal with such large mobs ?

Yeaterday, I ordered a book from @AmazonUK . Was advertised as 'New' & 'Eligible for Prime Delivery'
When I received it today, it was a used book with writings, notes and marks all over it - with pen.
