City-sponsored lakefront fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. The city didn't reveal where the fireworks will be shot off, but said they'll be visible along the lakefront from Grand Avenue to at least 55th Street. buff.ly/2URNqZJ
This is how we found out about our true address. If you have to call 911 for any reason, these pole markers are up and down the lakefront, including up by us where it may not be evident what the exact or approximate address is. ❤️❤️
We encourage residents along the lakefront to be aware of Pole Markers, the green and white signs affixed to street light poles with number location identifiers to help identify a location. This signage aids in the response by emergency personnel to incidents. #ChicagoFireworks

Since there seems to be some confusion still, the reopening of the lakefront has NOT been announced...only for the walking, running and biking trail located adjacent to us, as well as the 606 (Bloomingdales) trail.
