How someone can screw up this badly, such an obvious “don’t go there” statement.
Probably ended his chances of winning with it.
She was raped by her stepfather.
Ranking as the "most repulsive" statement of the 2026 cycle is Vivek Ramaswamy mocks Amy Acton's childhood sexual abuse, saying she just “complains about what someone else did to her.”
That "complaint" was being raped by her stepfather.
And Vivek's reaction was not empathy but putting her estranged mother -- who stayed with the rapist stepfather instead of protecting her children -- in an ad attacking @amyactonoh.
It is all just so disgusting. This ad by Vivek will backfire and seal his fate to the ash bin of politics.

I live in Lewiston Maine ... this is where I dropped my early voting ballot off.
Needing a translator to vote is obvious that they are non-citizzens because I believe in order to become a citizen through naturalization, one needs to speak English.

As a trans person point of view, this is an unnecessary day of recognition.
If you are trans and upset at being misgendered … try harder to look like the sex you are emulating. You cannot be a “trans woman” if you have a beard for example.
I won’t even call you “ma’am”. Make an effort.
As a trans person, I do not like others to use “forced” pronoun compliance.

A message was added to the website printed on these mailings to “children” in Texas. These were not officially sent by the dot Org officially, others used them as a trust guide and falsely named this organization.

Thousands of Texas households were just mailed a fancy "Texas Trans & LGBTQ+ Student Resource Guide" pamphlet addressed directly to students in their homes.
It tells students how to petition for legal emancipation and how to arrange out-of-state gender affirming care. And it encourages them to trust adult strangers who want to talk about their private parts, calling them their new “found family.”
But there's one problem... the pamphlet doesn't look like it came from a Texas trans group. When you try to track down who paid for this thing, it leads to a dead-end UPS box in Houston and a shady shell company in Wyoming. Even the local trans advocacy groups listed inside are throwing up their hands, saying they have no idea who sent it.
Right now, we don't know. But my team is digging into the paper trail, and we are going to find out who’s really behind this.
They have demonized ICE so much that men in divorce are using ICE as an excuse to try and get away with murdering his wife so he could get child custody.
The disgraceful rhetoric against ICE for protecting our country is causing this insanity.
A Sacramento man allegedly told detectives ICE agents arrested his missing wife when she went to get the mail. Authorities contacted ICE, which confirmed no enforcement activity had occurred at the residence.
Days before Gurinder Gill even made that claim, investigators in neighboring El Dorado County had already discovered burned and buried remains about 70 miles from the couple's home. Those remains were later confirmed to belong to his wife, 30-year-old Jasmine Gill, an India-born registered nurse and mother of their 8-month-old child.
Gill, 28, is now charged with murder. The couple had been going through a divorce and child custody dispute when Jasmine vanished on Sept. 30. Her cousin reported her missing on Oct. 4. Deputies arrested Gurinder on Oct. 14 and executed search warrants at two homes associated with him. He is ineligible for bail.
