Diplomatic sources giving me their initial reaction to President Trump's calls for Iranian ambassadors to ask for asylum in their host countries. One source pointing out that these ambassadors are political appointees of the IRGC - which many countries deem a terrorist organisation. The source added that 'given how many foiled Iranian-led assassination plots [there have been] on [country's] soil' they thought it would be unlikely their government would get on board with the idea.
