Very first PGM GD test board. Before adding the ARM processor, so this was only able to run 68K based games. With no graphics or sound, as this is just the prog board. 😆

Tinkering with a new feature for MegaDrive 240p Test Suite. A bounce pattern that switches from the 320 monoscope to the 256 monoscope back and forth.
This will help CRT users to visualize the difference between SNES and MegaDrive while setting horizontal center, while also being useful for scalers and emulators to ensure those are doing what they're supposed to be doing.
It needs a bit of cleaning up, but should be ready to submit to Artemio for inclusion at some point in the future.
It made me think of PCE/TG16 so I will be revisiting that over the next few days.

As this post got a pretty positive response, I went and integrated it into my game engine~!
It doesn't shoot the framerate as bad I thought it would, but the console is completely overloaded and many DMA's are getting biffed.

#SGDK first audio sync attemp. there is a glitch because i did include audio segments with wrong video partners. Also some cuts can be heard due to not stable framerate yet, but im happy enough. Banked rom, 22MBytes for 3:56 mins of video and audio at 20fps.
Black Tiger. Capcom, 1987.
Of all the games of my youth, this is one of the ones that impressed me most. I played it endlessly. The dungeons, the keys, the old men locked in stone, the shops, the dragon at the end. I knew every corner of it. To me, it is one of the greatest games ever made.
Now I can finally play it again. On a CRT. On a Neo Geo.
And it is perfect.
Every pixel, every round, every boss. All eight rounds played through on real hardware, from the first coin to the ending.
What's inside: the arcade runs a Z80 with 16 ROM banks and an i8751 microcontroller. Every instruction of the original was translated for the Neo Geo's 68000, the backgrounds and sprites are rebuilt from Neo Geo sprites, and the music comes straight from the original's two YM2203 chips, recorded and played back. The arcade picture is 256 × 224, so on the Neo Geo it fits line for line. Nothing cropped, nothing squeezed.
Some games you never forget. This is one of mine. 🐯

An interview with Shigeru Miyamoto from the February 1990 issue of Nintendo Power.
Apparently he’s working on Super Mario Brothers 4 and Legend of Zelda 3…

TENER Y NO TENER (Howard Hawks, 1945)
Hawks compro los derechos de la novela de Hemingway y se asoció con Warner Bros. para producir la película. El estudio designó a Bogart como protagonista, pero debían esperar su retorno del frente donde se hallaba divirtiendo a las tropas 👇

🇷🇸 One of the strangest images of SERBIA'S ELECTION NIGHT came after Vučić conceded
Riot police who had been stationed around key government buildings began pulling out of central Belgrade as crowds celebrated the student-led opposition victory.
Police trucks LEAVING while people cheered and waved them off.
GOOSEBUMPS!
For months, those streets had looked like a government preparing for confrontation.
Then the result landed, and the barricades started disappearing.
