HW3 Intel Model Y — FSD hit the brakes before I understood why. 🦌😳
Halloween night, heading home with my wife and kids, I was just talking about how much I love this Tesla. Then it suddenly slowed down on the highway.
My first thought: “What is this car doing?!”
A deer was crossing directly ahead. FSD began braking, and I instinctively grabbed the wheel, disengaged and swerved. Looking back at both camera angles, that slowdown made a huge difference.
The side view shows how close we came—and the deer colliding with the vehicle beside us. A scary reminder of how quickly an ordinary drive can change.

The shameful racist President of the United States of America has stopped to labeling his political competition in the Democratic Party as terrorists because he’s getting trounced in the polls.
This kind of behavior is despicable.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 TWO CIVILIANS FLEEING UNDER A WHITE FLAG KILLED BY A RUSSIAN SOLDIER
Two Ukrainian civilians attempting to escape under a white flag were killed by a Russian soldier. Their dog was also killed.
A white flag is a visible signal of peaceful intent. Civilians fleeing danger are protected under international humanitarian law, regardless of which side controls the territory.
The incident raises serious questions about accountability for Russian forces and the protection of civilians.
Meanwhile, Trump, Witkoff and Musk have faced criticism over their public positions concerning Russia and the war.
Whatever diplomatic approach Washington chooses, the killing of fleeing civilians cannot be treated as a secondary concern.
Any serious effort to end this war must confront the violence being inflicted on the people trying to survive it.

A war of attrition is on. Putin now must decide if his nation will be reduced to impoverished rubble, and a lack of fuel for transportation, or one at peace with the neighboring countries, and capable of delivering bread to the Russian people.
It remains apparent to outside observers that Putin wants hell fire on Earth for everyone if he cannot have his way.
He must resign or be removed.
Russia's attacks on Ukrainian gas stations are spreading. At least 363 different stations have been hit nationwide. The tally is likely closer to 400. Hits are increasingly recorded in Kyiv and western Ukraine, not only near the front.
THE FRONTLINE COST
In Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, a damaged station can have an outsized effect. Fuel is needed to move civilians, deliver supplies and keep military logistics running. Striking the places where vehicles refuel is an attempt to obstruct both daily life and the movement needed to defend these cities.
THE WIDER CAMPAIGN
Strikes farther west have less immediate effect on frontline operations. But their spread makes Moscow's aim plain: put Ukraine's civilian and military logistics under pressure across the country. Ukraine's fuel distribution is highly decentralised, making it harder to disable with a few blows. Russia is responding to that endurance by attacking hundreds of individual stations.
