“I’m a little girl. I have school tomorrow.”
But tomorrow never came.
On October 7, Palestinian Hamas terrorists murdered twins Liel and Yanai Hetzroni.
Two children among the many innocent lives brutally stolen that day.
They deserved to grow up. They deserved a tomorrow. 💔🕯️

Heading out this evening or making your way home from work? The forecast shows a quick round of thunderstorms and gusty winds moving through NYC between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., with most of the activity expected between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The storms are currently forecast to pass in about an hour or two. Winds of 30 to 40 mph are expected as they move through, with a few stronger gusts possible. Rain is expected to be light, generally a quarter inch or less, and flooding is not expected, though leaves clogging catch basins could leave some puddles on the roads.
A little planning now will help you get where you’re going safely. Try to be indoors while the storms pass through, secure anything loose on your balcony or patio, and charge your phone before you head out. If you’re driving, give yourself a few extra minutes and steer clear of standing water.
After the storms clear, the weekend turns cooler and breezy, with temperatures in the 50s. You may want a jacket for Saturday.
Report fallen trees or hanging branches to 311, and call 911 if anyone is in danger. Get updates by texting NOTIFYNYC to 692-692 or visiting nyc.gov/notifynyc.

New Yorkers: tomorrow is shaping up to be a rainy Sunday. Here’s the latest on the remnants of Isaias. 🌧️
Isaias is no longer a hurricane. After making landfall near Destin, Florida, Friday night, it weakened to a post-tropical cyclone and has lost its tropical characteristics. It’s still carrying a lot of moisture, though, and according to @NWSNewYorkNY, that moisture is expected to bring a steady, soaking rain to NYC tomorrow.
Here’s what the forecast says right now:
☔ Rain is expected to move in after 8 AM Sunday and spread across the city by late morning or early afternoon.
🌧️ The heaviest rain is expected Sunday afternoon and evening, with 1 to 1.25 inches of rain and a rumble of thunder possible. Some areas could see 2 to 3 inches where heavier rain repeats.
💨 Gusts of 30 to 35 mph are expected, with occasional gusts up to 40 mph.
🌤️ Rain is expected to end by Monday morning, with a dry Monday afternoon.
At this time, the forecast calls for mainly minor flooding on streets and in low-lying areas. Minor coastal flooding is also possible around high tide Monday morning and again Tuesday morning.
Out of an abundance of caution, the City’s Flash Flood Emergency Plan remains active, and crews are clearing catch basins across all five boroughs.
Before the rain arrives:
🪴 Secure loose items on balconies and patios.
🔋 Keep your phone charged.
🏠 If you live in a basement, know your exits and be ready to move to a higher floor if heavy rain begins.
🚗 Never drive, walk, or swim through floodwaters.

Three years ago on this day, @Israel forever changed. I woke up in the middle of the night from phone calls to turn TV here in the USA. I was shaking, was mad and I was in total shock. We are Lions!
We will NEVER forget 7/10.

At 6:29 a.m. on October 7, 2023, Palestinian Hamas terrorists invaded Israel.
They stormed communities, murdered families in their homes, raped, burned and kidnapped.
Three years on, Israel remembers the victims and the barbarity of Palestinian jihadist terrorism.
We will never forget.
