I wanted to share some of the work i made on Sifu (only 3 years late). This is Jinfeng, the boss of the 3rd hideout.
I did the rig and the majority of her animation.
Even if there are still a lot of issues, it was fun to do and I'm pleased with how it turned out in game.

You need to master the skill of observation before you can master the art of animation.
Study reference, go outside, observe the real world, get up & act out the action.
BUT! Don’t just copy what you see. Breakdown why it feels right & then inject that feeling into the animation
