The choice is not between Ofsted and no Ofsted, writes former HMI Adrian Lyons, it is between high-stakes judgement imposed upon schools and intelligent external accountability carried out with schools tes.com/magazine/analysis/ge…
2005 reforms were meant to fix Ofsted - now they’re the cause of inspection concerns

School inspection has lost sight of the principles behind its last fundamental reform - but there could be a way back, argues Adrian Lyons, former HMI and Ofsted national subject lead

A man central to all we have achieved over the last five years. 💙 We can confirm Wes Burns has joined Leicester City for an undisclosed fee, following 164 appearances and three promotions during his time at Portman Road.

A whirlwind few months since starting at my new school in January. A parent came to see me on Friday and thanked me. Modestly I replied and said something along the lines of “I’m just doing my job” she replied “Yes you are but you care and that’s what makes the difference”
