I'm so impressed with my S3s' Pi-ku poems they wrote for Pi day! (The pupil writing about disliking maths was quick to clarify that it was hypothetical 😂). Also had a reciting pi contest which brought some sibling / cousin rivalries! @WMCKilmarnockAc @aap03102 @mathsweekscot

In my final week😭 at @BrechinHigh1 @brechinhsmaths department, I'm proud of all these pupils who have engaged with my maths challenges throughout the year, achieving gold standard. Each received certificates today. I'm sure they'll go on to great things! @BrechinHighLib

Loving Fiona's knt, much of which I try to do in my teaching. At same time I'm frustrated by reality that pupils like only to be taught exact methods, else feel they're "not being taught". Sometimes exact methods are imo right way to teach, but not always #SMC2021
