I’m sure D Rose leading the Bulls to the #1 seed in the East that year when EVERYBODY outside of Chicago thought it would be the Heat had absolutely nothing to do with it Dwight. They had an agenda against you and your #4 seed Magic.
Dwight Howard claims he lost the 2011 MVP title to Derrick Rose because the media preferred a storyline over better stats.
Dwight Howard: "The year that D Rose won, I think my numbers and everything were crazy that year. Just because I was a big man, it was like, no, we're not going to let him win."
Shaquille O'Neal: "Did you hear what Dominique said a couple months ago? He said, 'I knew the league was tripping because Shaq was going for the scoring title and David was going for the scoring title. They told us to come let Dave score.'"
Dwight Howard: "The only reason he won is because he said, 'I think I can be the MVP,' and they wanted that storyline. That's how he got it. No shade on him."
Shaquille O'Neal: "Yeah, but that's how they do us. You know what we got to do? We got to eat that stuff and just get angry."
Saturday morning was the first time I REALLY watched a band and their performance. I gained a new level of appreciation for what all goes into marching bands.
Lot of conversations about the new uni’s for the football team, but can we talk about BGMM’s drum majors unis too?? I may have missed these but love the blue & old gold 😍😍 @B_GMM #GHOE #AggiePride
He got exactly what he deserved
He was 13 when he did it. Twice. Ninety days apart.
In the video below, Nickalas Kedrowitz hears his sentence in an Indiana courtroom and breaks down crying.
May 2017, Osgood, Indiana. His baby half-sister Desiree, not even two years old, died at home. In July his 11-month-old stepbrother Nathaniel died in the same house.
Months later he confessed. He told investigators he was "freeing them from hell." When they asked what hell he meant, he gave them one word. "Chores."
That September he nearly killed a kitten in a relative's basement. She told police he had a temper and only thought about himself.
A psychologist found him competent to stand trial. His lawyers argued he had serious mental health problems and never got the help he needed. Prosecutors pointed out that the two deaths were three months apart. Not one moment of rage. Two separate decisions.
He was tried as an adult. In August 2021 a jury convicted him on both counts. The judge gave him 50 years for each child, back to back.
100 years. For something he did at 13.
Should a 13-year-old ever be judged like an adult, or did this case leave the court no other choice?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Kedrowitz's 100-year sentence for killings at 13 is real. Video is not his sentencing. Indiana barred cameras then; news confirmed none and no remorse. Boy mismatches photos; fact-checks say AI-generated.

Notice the change in JD5 stance when he’s under center? He now stands with his left foot back so Chris Paul can’t step on it.

Yall ok mentally? Because having the same conversations about the Commanders literally EVERY SINGLE DAY can’t be healthy. Nothing else going on in your lives worth focusing on at least one day a week?
