Yup. It avoids reflection for sure, but then again loses on contrast and pop. I think they did it mostly to make the crease least visible. Lol

While it looks and feels extremely premium, as it should at this price point, the overall software experience is good, apart from the unoptimised apps, which I feel will eventually get optimised. Nevertheless, here are my major gripes with it: 1. No Face ID. I never thought I would miss Face ID this much. I mean, don’t get me wrong, Touch ID works flawlessly every single time, but it will take some time to get used to if you’re coming from a regular iPhone, since it adds an extra step: placing your finger on the power button. 2. Cameras… How do I put it? They’re okay-ish for a foldable phone but pretty average for a phone priced this high. I miss my telephoto camera. And don’t even get me started on the 4MP under-display potato camera. 3. Volume buttons on the top. Why, Apple, why? I’m happy to sacrifice the Camera Control button to have the volume controls on the right side. 4. Pulling down the notification panel from the top-left corner requires some serious finger gymnastics. I end up activating Siri more than half the time. 5. Left-handed users might find it slightly harder to use. The dock is aligned to the right, which can make things a little awkward. At least opening the notification panel is easier for them. 6. It’s a chunky phone. You can definitely feel the weight, and combined with the wide form factor, it starts to take its toll during extended one-handed use.

iPhone Duo feels really premium in hand. I’ll give it that much.

This is dope but you should have named it Duo Islands.
This is how I'd fix the iPhone Duo's ridiculous sidebar. I call it Twin Islands. Two little glass bars: one around the camera for statuses, one at the bottom for app controls. Apps get the full width of the screen. Controls stay under your thumb. Thoughts?

Apple's downfall with regards to their software quality needs to be studied 🤦‍♂️ Please, Apple, just let me roll back to macOS Sequoia. Your Golden Gate update is really pissing me off with all the bugs I have to face on daily basis. Its a complete shit show!

Yes. It’s called staying indoors.
I want my smart glasses to hide everything distracting while I am working.

I completely understand that, and I am someone who has tested and used iPhone Air. But that doesn’t mean telephoto cameras are useless or not needed. iPhone Air not having a telephoto at that price is a shortcoming.

Your lack of camera skills or camera usage doesn’t justify such a expensive not having a telephoto

I am sorry, but it’s not about whether you need it or not, or whether people can point it out or not. The question is: after paying this much for a phone, shouldn’t we at least get a proper telephoto camera?
