Nice new threads Mr Hammond! Very special gifts presented to Mr Hammond and all the students this morning - thank you Lords Academy
@SiregarPriyanka Can you suggest a range beforehand? You will use your preliminaries to confirm or adjust this
@SiregarPriyanka Yes Priyanka, you'll need to make a hypothesis
@SiregarPriyanka It's the change in GPE for the height increase you need to consider not the total GPE
@SiregarPriyanka 6) Yes - there are other factors!
@SiregarPriyanka 5) Yes, though think about how you could increase the length of the ramp and control the height?
@SiregarPriyanka 4) Yes, more KE = greater speed, so covers the same distance more quickly
@SiregarPriyanka 3) More KE = faster, so more momentum, so it would take longer for the same force to stop it moving, so will travel further
@SiregarPriyanka 2) Yes you could push the skier, but how would you measure this push or the amount of work you have done on him?
@SiregarPriyanka you appear to have 6 questions, answering them in turn 1) Yes, include relevant equations in your scientific explanation
@SiregarPriyanka sorry Priyanka, missed your tweet. Will answer in the morning
A great friend of @IRIS_Connect, Sir Tim Brighouse takes the stage at #shapingCPD
