Today I participated in my first ever virtual fire drill! We stayed at least 6 ft. apart while we took our picture. Students reported being chilly as they participated from home 馃槀 I鈥檓 so glad they were able to participate from afar! #HeritageVirtualFireDrill #HeritageLearn
I can鈥檛 believe that #yearseven is already coming to a close. This year is extra special because it was my last year teaming with my great friend @MrsHoughan5th While I know our friendship has many more years to come, I will certainly miss seeing you daily! #bestteammateever

What a great morning! @MrsHoughan5th and I were able to video chat with 40 of our 60 students today! We heard about what they鈥檝e been up to, read a picture book together, and saw many pets! #community #newnormal
Today was a bout day for so many people. In addition to preparing for some time away from school, our class celebrated Pi Day and showered Baby Bendes with some love and gifts! I鈥檓 so grateful for such an amazing school family!
Today we get to hear from author and former Saline teacher, @claudiawhitsitt about her book series Kids Like You. We learned about the books, the process of writing historical fiction, and some of the history behind the books. #MIRM #readingrocks #twoauthorsintwodays

We are finishing one PBl and starting another all in one day! In reading, we started learning about careers by doing a QR scavenger hunt with @MsDAmico5 and @julievkelley. This afternoon, we are having an expo to showcase our colonies! #pbl #heritagelearn

Today was an exciting day in the LOFT! We participated in the first annual #WhoWasHistoryBee - we had three rounds and an exciting battle to the end to find our class winner. Great job to all!
