Especially resonant just now when people seem to kick off at the slightest thing...

Absolutely love this graphic from WholeHearted School Counseling. It's not easy, but this is a great reminder to look beyond the anger in pupils and adults to find out what's really going on.

Dear techie friends and #mfltwitterati how can I get my Y6s to collaborate online to create a dialogue? We work in Showbie, so could use class discussion voice notes, but with all adding voice notes, could get messy! Is there a better way? Hope so...🤞🏻🤞🏻

You asked, we listened. To help support kids, parents and educators... kids can now video chat with a friend in our safer, healthier and kinder social media. Awesome impact during closures to maintain friendships and classroom community. GoBubble.School (please share)

Very much agree with this and thought this was a key gap to work on well before Coronavirus.

@BSMuscatY3 @BSMuscatHeadPri #mfltwitterati such confident counting from one of my Year 3 pupils this morning, and what a lot of dolls!! (Sneaky little task to ensure I see my pupils’ smiling faces before the Easter break!)

@Showbie @BSMuscatHeadPri @BSMuscat Another charming video of giving French directions, getting them away from their screens and outdoors to be creative...and enlisting little sister into the bargain!

@Showbie @BSMuscat @BSMuscatHeadPri Today it’s Y5’s turn to do videos giving directions in French...and the bar has been set high early in the day by this fantastic piece of tech skill from my native speaker!

From a brief read of this, it seems incredibly important.

Why the Huduma Namba ruling matters for the future of digital ID, and not just in Kenya

On 30 January 2020, Kenya’s High Court handed down its judgment on the validity of the implementation of the National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS), known as the Huduma Namba.

Beautiful - I'll buy that!
I am about to do 4 test papers per child (one for Listening, Reading Writing and Speaking) x 381 pupils - with conservative calculation that’s 127 hours of marking!! Maybe time to set more via quizzing apps...but quality of personalised understanding definitely impacted. Dilemma.
