"Jesus said : 'Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these." Matthew 6-28-29

Continuing with our Bird topic @Class8_StMarys captured worms using only their 'peg beak'......trickier than we thought it would be! 🐦🪱 #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @StMarysRCRad

Yesterday we thought about how hard the birds have to work to find food in Winter and how tricky it is to build a nest. We admired our oak leaf chair and decided that it was fit for the King! 🤴 #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @StMarysRCRad @4W_MissWalmsley

Last week @Class8_StMarys we located our new signs on Forest School and helped to add logs to our feeding ground. We also noticed that there is still lots of colour to be found even in winter.🪾🍂🍁 #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @StMarysRCRad

Yesterday @4W_MissWalmsley explored Forest School from different viewpoints, we thought about how it would appear from an insect or a birds perspective. 🐜🐦 #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @StMarysRCRad

Well done for all of your efforts!😁 🥉 We are now aiming for Silver! 🐜🐝🐛🐞🌳🌿🪾

We have been busy decorating our Forest School Christmas tree. Lots of movement from us yesterday to keep ourselves warm! 🥶 #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @5Jmrjacques @StMarysRCRad

We had fun yesterday working on our balance!😁 #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @5Jmrjacques @StMarysRCRad

A busy day for Class 9 yesterday! The Woodland Olympics continued with gymnastics, we admired the beautiful colours of different berries, some very serious exploring was done and our tree decorations are almost ready to hang. #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @5bMrs @StMarysRCRad

A cold but happy day for Class 10 yesterday! We made our own basketball hoop and scored the perfect shot 🏀, made shark and ice stew in our kitchen, decorated christmas sticks and found enough ice 'to make a window'. #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @5Jmrjacques @StMarysRCRad

Class 9 had fun in the sun yesterday! 🌞 We installed a new oven in the den's kitchen, investigated the different textures in the pebble bath and began transferring our christmas designs onto tree cookies. 🔎 🎄 #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @5bMrs @StMarysRCRad

Official confirmation of the amount raised. Thankyou again for your generous donations and wonderful support. 🍰🧁🍩🍪 #stmarysradcliffecatholiclife #MacMillancoffeemorning @StMarysRCRad

The woodland olympics started yesterday for us! Great effort from everyone - well done! 🏅 🏆 #stmarysradcliffeforestschool #GreenTreeSchools @woodlandtrust @5Jmrjacques @StMarysRCRad

Indoor session for us yesterday. We worked on knot tying,🧶 thinking about when a reef knot may be useful. We started to design our decorations for our Forest School Christmas tree. 🎄We are ready to be back outside next week! #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @StMarysRCRad @5bMrs

Next week we will be focusing on being 'device free'......some of us think that this will be be 'impossible' so let's see how we get on! 😁📱🖥 💻 #stmarysradcliffelaudatosi #CutYourCarbon @StMarysRCRad

We got wet but were still smiling yesterday! We found some interesting pottery pieces whilst digging and realised how hard a bird has to work as we attempted to make nests using only natural materials. 🐦 🪹 🍁 🌳 #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @StMarysRCRad @5Jmrjacques

Our 6 challenges for November. This week we are focusing on 'Ditch the drive' and 'Drop it like it's hot' Checklists are available in school. 🚗 🌡 🌎 #stmarysradcliffelaudatosi #CutYourCarbon @StMarysRCRad

It was wonderful to see the changes on our site since our last visit. We explored and found the smallest snail that we have ever seen! 🐌 We had a great time just 'being' in nature and appreciating our wonderful world. #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @5Jmrjacques @StMarysRCRad

We enjoyed our first forest school session, lots of smiles, whether relaxing alone or busy with friends. We looked at 'camouflage' and identified the best coat to wear for hide and seek. We designed bonfires from autumn leaves. #stmarysradcliffeforestschool @StMarysRCRad @5bMrs
