After quite a few years on Twitter, we're making the move to Instagram! We hope you'll join us there: KindergartenwithPictonFerlito

This sweet gift and message today melted our hearts. The last day is always such a mix of emotions for us. Excited for summer break, but sad to say goodbye to our little classroom family. ❤️ Thank you for a wonderful year! 💕🥰

A Hewitt's Creek tradition... clapping out the Grade 8s! Congratulations on finishing your elementary school career. All the best as you head off to high school!

The snail and the bird.

This was super fun today! We used Legos and washable ink to make pictures.

A finger paint project in the making. Can’t wait to see the finished project!

Congratulations to A, N, S and R for showing Respect in our class and N and C for showing Reaponsibility. Way to go!

We stayed outside this morning before it got too hot. We remembered to put sunscreen on, bring our water bottles and make cupcakes 😉

Our last time in the gym for the school year was today. Ms. V taught us a new game called Hot Dog tag. A super fun and silly twist on a game of Tag.

More from Water day!

Bring on the sun cause today was WATER DAY!!!!! Oh the screams of excitement was coming in strong today 😆

Today each student got their very own whiteboard. They were so proud of themselves as they wrote down letters they heard and words they could sound out independently! It was so exciting to see their excitement and confidence in reading and writing!

Gym day!

Today in music we learned about string instruments. Ask your child, “Which string instrument was your favourite?”

We had a fun kindergarten picnic today!!! Thank you to everyone who was able to make it. We felt like it went by fast but we hope you enjoyed yourself!

Loose parts is ready for whatever you can imagine!

We made a farm with Lincoln Logs today.

The little block builders created a road and a steep ramp. We had a great learning opportunity when it fell down. We talked about not blaming people for breaking it (especially because it was an accident) but instead looking at ways to make it more stable.
