Maths took us outdoors today! 🌿 P6 have been developing their skills in estimating and measuring using appropriate units of measurement. We finished with a stick challenge, putting our teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test!
🌸 P6 have been exploring light and shade through water lily artwork, using pink and white oil pastels to create depth, texture and realism.
Absolutely stunning work from everyone! 🎨✨

Our School Captains had their first meeting! 💜 We explored leadership and pupil voice, and are ready to listen to your ideas and make positive change across our school.

P6 have started reading The Santa Maria.
Today, we explored setting, using ICT to locate Scottish islands. Some pupils also explored how the author creates atmosphere through descriptive language, before bringing their ideas to life through painting. 🎨💻🌊
We’re thrilled to welcome our new members of the Rights Respecting Steering Group! Each spoke confidently in their interviews about children’s rights, their favourite UNCRC articles, and how they support the rights of others.
