Harry Kane going from football’s most famous trophyless player to a Ballon d’Or winner might be the greatest example of why changing employers can improve your life.

This is important But another key thing I think we are skimming past, The WHOLE island of Tobago. Six police stations & want for 3 police posts... With an estimated 61,000 inhabitants... And occasionally spiking crime rates Has just 14 working police cars? My flabber is gasted

Tobago Police get $50,000 for 2027 to pay for fuel at the pumps. That is Kamla’s “love” for Tobago. How could 14 police vehicles function for 12 months on $50,000.00. Kamla is paid approximately $90,000.00 a month and has a whole fleet of vehicles paid for by taxpayers but that is her “love” for Tobago. Chronicles of the Kakistocracy. We will remember. Time longer than twine. Stuart R. Young, SC, MP October 22, 2026

Bacano Bookshop’s new St Augustine location along the Eastern Main Road is as much a conventional outlet featuring low-cost used books as it is an oasis of creative possibility. It recently moved there from its long-standing Arima location. For more… guardian.co.tt/article/liter…

Why do you care if somebody splits their rent? Why do you care if they buy knock-off? Why do you care which grocery store they shop at? Why do you care that they use a laundromat? Why do you care that they live with their parents? Why do you care?

The violence in our society is a result of both political parties failing. Both have underutilized and underfunded community engagement, social development and empowering vulnerable and marginalized people. Now we all suffer with their belief that police deal with violence.

ed sheeran can afford to call their bluff. he is a big enough artist to make a public fuss and get his way. all his cowardice does is scare other artists into silence and set precedent for further censorship via industry strongarming. he deserves all of the hate he gets and more.

A lot of people will come for Ed Sheeran, but the venues threatened not to host his tour if Macklemore performed. He was essentially left with two choices: cancel the tour or drop Macklemore. We live in a country where even the smallest expression of solidarity with Palestinians and their suffering is not tolerated by those in power. This is just another example of how far that pressure extends.

macklemore acknowledging the difficult position ed was put in by the potential of cancelling on hundreds of thousands of fans if he sided with him while not letting that be an excuse to not be on the right side of history oh i love a man capable of dialectical thinking

The jury has found Durk NOT GUILTY on all charges. Not guilty on everything for Durk. It's a complete acquittal. Wilson and Lindsey were convicted of stalking and stalking conspiracy. Not guilty on murder for hire.
