The newest edition of Howitt’s “The Paw Print” is here! Check this one out! We had students take on leadership roles and create some awesome new columns. I’m incredibly proud if their hard work. Stay tuned for our next one! 💚

Today, we took our 8th grade students to WWP to read some Dr. Seuss books to our Kindergarteners! It was such a sweet thing to see. Oh, the places you’ll go when you read! 📚💚 @HowittMS
My readers in their natural habitat! Today, we spent the period in the library to find new independent reading books. Then, students cozied up in the book nooks to get a jump start on their reading. Loved seeing them all enjoy their new books! 💚 @HowittMS
This week, students are wrapping up our reading of A Christmas Carol by completing their “Body Biography Projects,” demonstrating their ability to analyze characterization across a text! @HowittMS 💚📚
…and Happy Holidays from The Paw Print! Start your holiday break reading by checking out the newest edition of our Howitt school newspaper! 💚🐾

JV Girls Soccer continued their undefeated season last night with a 2-0 win! Plus, the girls threw our senior a surprise senior night! Teammates on and off the field 💚
What better way to start the first day of the school year than with a win by our JV Girls Soccer team! (Thanks to our new mascot, Jet, for the good luck! 🐾) We’re just getting started! 💪🏻💚
Happy last day of school AND happy last edition of The Paw Print! The Paw Print has been the highlight of this school year for me and I cannot express how grateful I am for the love and support it has received. Until next year! 💚🐾

The first-ever students vs. staff kickball game came down to the wire, but Howitt staff edged the students 33-31. Lots of fun and a great game played by all. Thank you to Gina and the @HowittmiddlePTA!!
