Super successful morning with @dduff77 (AKA Math Man) exploring division and fractions with cuisinaire rods! So much great thinking from the students. They said, “All this math on the board makes it look like we’re in college!” @StLukeOttawa @kimstiffOCSB #ocsbMath
Today, students created spheres with partners! They used the pan balance to determine whether they had the same mass, then explored fractions by testing whether 1/2 of the sphere would have the same mass as 2/4 of the sphere! @StLukeOttawa #ocsbmath
