❤️ teaching/inspiring/encouraging young minds to explore science and our universe. Proud of my 5th grade student’s ISS Lego build. Just in time for #SpaceXUSA 🇺🇸 launch.

Read books on science notebooking and tried composition books but fav is one kids create themselves. Use a 2” binder with 8 tab pockets and build from there. Table of contents with units, etc. Stored in classroom and handy as reference & science portfolio
#Elementary #Scienceteachers! What would make a really great science notebook for students?! Are there ones out there you would recommend?! @drlangraad @NSTA #dtk12chat #scichat #remotelearning #interactivesciencenotebook @Javier_Montiel1 @StratoStar4U @CindyGo75 @tonyvincent

Invertebrate challenge of the day, who knows what this is? Leave your guess as replies and I will post the photo of the whole animal in a few hours... You get bonus points if you name the structures. #Guessthecritter
Is a great leader one who reacts to challenges with good discernment or one who plans ahead, looking around every corner and strategizing well ahead of challenges.? @HeidiHayesJacob is a great leader in educ.
So timely! @HeidiHayesJacob asked in 2011: What year are we preparing our students for?
Be honest! Did we prepare students w/ skills to tackle #remotelearning? Did we prepare for #remoteworking? Did we take the time to prepare ourselves #remoteteaching?

My sweet 5th grade Providence students had a Birthday cake, flowers, balloons and a card delivered to my house today. My heart is full of gratitude. #provschool
My mom survived the virus.....14 days in ICU on a Ventilator, sedated, with double pneumonia and septic shock. They said she wouldn’t make it the 2nd day....but her doctors didn’t give up. We prayed for them and her. Keep hope alive!!
We hear a lot about #COVID19 death tolls. But what about the people who survive the disease? bit.ly/2Jwxof0
Schools should continue to provide students and parents with IT support. Teachers are exhausted trying to juggle helping parents with IT issues and teaching at the same time.
