Is degrowth now Alliance policy for Northern Ireland farming? After Andrew Muir told the Belfast Telegraph that if people keep opposing him, we have too big a herd, Deputy Leader Diana Armstrong MLA put the question to his party directly. Our family farms deserve an answer.

What’s happening. Would y’all go home/back to work & mind yer own business. Getting the Stormont budget agreed on would be more in your line instead of grandstanding that our NHS & infrastructure desperately needs. We see what you’re doing, turning neighbour against neighbour.

What’s happening? I know we all make mistakes but how on earth has this character been enabled? Maybe it’s a different guy. If so, my bad.

I'd vote for this guy. Nail on the head.

Ulster Unionist Party Leader Jon Burrows MLA has today written to both the Chief Constable and the Chair of the Northern Ireland Policing Board about Sunday's events on the Garvaghy Road. In his letter to the Chief Constable, Jon thanked PSNI officers, who were placed in an exceptionally difficult position through no fault of their own. He has also sought a public assurance that everyone involved will be treated equally under the law, as senior Sinn FΓ©in politicians were among those present on Sunday. Jon said: "Any apparent offences involving them must be investigated exactly as they would be if any other citizen were involved. Office or political position must make no difference whatsoever." He has also asked the Policing Board Chair for an urgent decision on Board member Deirdre Hargey MLA before Thursday's meeting. Footage shows Ms Hargey linking arms across the road during what the PSNI have described as an unlawful and unnotified protest. Jon believes she should not attend Thursday's meeting, and that Sinn FΓ©in should replace her on the Board until the investigation and any proceedings have concluded. "This is not a presumption of guilt. It is basic good governance, and a test of the Board's independence and the appearance of impartiality."

What’s happening? Staff were practically begging me to tell their story. If you’re going to centralise everything (eg. DH maternity to CAH) the funds need to be made available, buildings & car parks need upgraded, staff kindness need to stop being taken advantage of…

Often A&E is the *only* route to treatment. The days of GP referrals to dedicated departments are few and far between. I know an amputee who was told by his GP to take a newdparer and sit in A&E until…

he was β€˜in the system’ because the ward he should been referred to no longer existed. A&E is an abused department. It’s not that it’s not fit for purpose, it’s entirely overloaded.
