"It would be so great to create cool designs that someone could turn into their Vtuber persona!" :D
Reality: No one wants to buy them 🥲

Update on Novel Horizons: some former staff have gone out of their way to get affected creators their 3D files and data back. I received Froot's this morning, and some other creators should have been contacted as well.
They didn't have to do this, and none of this would be possible without them. I won't mention any names for privacy given the sensitivity of the situation, but @EvilGuyNikita (the GOAT for coordinating all of this, honestly) and I will make sure they understand how much this means to anyone affected. These former staff put hope back into a bleak situation, and we are so grateful.
If you're a creator that hasn't been contacted/haven't received files, reach out to either Nikita or me and we'll see what can be done.

If you were the 3d modeler at novel horizons and have the 3d files for anyones figures that never came out hit up my email and maybe with the creators permission we can optimize it for 3d print so people can still get it print and paint style. Idk how or who to set it up with yet but a lot of these figures were gorgeous and should be printed at least (with creators blessing)

Earlier this week, I was notified by an outside source that Novel Horizons, the company with which I released preorders for a 1/7 scale figure last year, is going bankrupt. My figures, which were meant to be mailed out this June, were never made and I was never paid out. At this time, I am working on solutions to attempt to soften this blow for the fans that trusted in me and made a purchase. I'm so sorry to have to write this update and I feel that I have let my fans down yet again. If you made an order and do not still use or have access to the email you made at the time of order, please use this form to give my team your updated contact information: forms.gle/ih24mJrTLuFtAfWY6

My fellow vtubers, please don't use gen AI for your content creation.
I will never stop preaching this. Artists are the backbone of the vtubing sphere, if you respect your Artists who drew and/or rigged your model then refrain using AI slop for your other content. There are so many artists on vgen who fit to any type of budget and if you don't have anything to spend, then there are also so many wonderful free resources and assets created by a hard working artist for you.
Respect your Artists and stop using AI that gets fed with stolen art.
