A great night celebrating our outgoing S6s, including Firrhill’s first ever Politics class 🤩 You will all be missed but we can’t wait to hear what you do with your bright futures!
Me, after almost four solid hours of lovely, but ultimately very tiring, Parents Evening appointments with a tiny break in the middle… – at Scotland, United Kingdom
They’ve arrived! WHAT A DAY! 🤟🎉📚
#politicsnerd #teachingotherpoliticsnerds
First (proper) day of the break, strong start:
✅ Beach clothes not delivered in time
✅ Lost purse and all bank cards
✅ Partner flying from a different airport (always the plan, just quite annoying due to above)
✅ Own flight delayed for 3+ hours due to lack of pilot – at South West, England
Gutted we lost out but delighted to have been at @KelvingroveArt (my fave building) for the #eurovision2023 reveal for The One Show. Hanging out with Lawrence Chaney is not a bad way to end the week! – at Glasgow, Scotland
Hearing @SELFESTEEM___ discuss her favourite font types on stage really summarises why I am at the entirely correct festival for my age and occupation 🤣👍🎉

If nothing else, politics in the U.K. this summer has given me ample material over the summer for this new display in my classroom! 📰
Devastated that I wasn't able to single-handedly increase viewing figures for #Neighbours and secure its long-term future through my overt references in lessons ('Neighbours is the best soap' model essay being a high point) but what a way to end it 🎉🥹💔

Replying to @misskennedy24
It hurt my soul 😱 The fact they were all born after its release is, as far as I’m concerned, a poor excuse!
