🇰🇪 🇳🇱 Another Kenyan in the Diaspora has gone live accusing the police of not helping her despite her being in a toxic marriage . Once again, a child is involved .
She says “ If I die, God will not forgive the Netherlands police “ .
She also notes that children protection services has noted that they will only start investigations after 8 weeks .
Dear Diasporans, please don’t bring your family conflicts online . The online community will just laugh at you like they are already mocking this lady in the comment section .
They already hate Diasporans by the mere fact that these are Diasporans, your pain is their happiness.
Of note though :
1. Most Europeans don’t worship marriage like a lot of Africans do , so expecting an average European to give attention to your complaints about marriage is actually harassment , they see this as your choice and responsibility
2. Invoking the name of God in Europe doesn’t work , a big chunk of them only go to church on Christmas hols and Easter . This is like talking to the wall and may lead to the person doing it being considered insane !
3. Unfortunately, as a migrant in Europe no one cares if you die or not . So just fight your case off the cameras and stay alive
4. Don’t bring issues involving a child online , it will be used against you !
5. Use your chance in Europe wisely, get a training and a job . Save some money so that if you get into such problems you can navigate better !

One of the posters is fake news. How can one tell the difference?
Also, what has motivated this kind of fake news ?

Africa does not need intellectuals who simply translate Western thinking into African languages.
We need scholars who begin with African experiences, challenge inherited assumptions, and produce ideas capable of changing the material conditions of our people.
His partner was murdered and he disappeared.
Two years later he has been arrested!

A two-year manhunt for a murder suspect accused of killing Sheila Odoyo has culminated in his arrest in Tanzania, following intelligence-led investigations and cross-border collaboration between Kenyan and Tanzanian law enforcement agencies.
Odoyo was found murdered inside her house in Athi River on the morning of 9 May 2024, in a case that triggered intensive investigations and a relentless pursuit of the suspected perpetrator.
With the suspect nowhere to be found, detectives followed leads, pieced together intelligence and pursued every available avenue to bring him to justice.
The breakthrough came when intelligence placed the fugitive in Kirongwe, Shirati District, Tanzania, where he was reportedly hiding in plain sight while operating a club approximately 70 kilometres from the Muhuru border point.
Acting on the intelligence, detectives from Athi River, working in close coordination with their counterparts in Nyatike and Tanzanian law enforcement officers, mounted a joint operation to track and arrest the suspect.
The operation paid off with the arrest of Jackson Otieno Bambo, a.k.a. James Babu Olang, the deceased’s husband.
At the time of his arrest, the suspect was found in possession of a Tanzanian national identity card bearing the name James Babu Olang, a detail that now forms part of the ongoing investigations.
Following his arrest, the suspect was booked at Nyatike Police Station before being escorted to Athi River Police Station, where he remains in custody pending arraignment to face a murder charge.
The DCI remains steadfast in its commitment to pursuing perpetrators of serious crimes, working with local and international law enforcement partners to ensure that suspects are brought before the courts to answer to their charges.

What happened to responsible journalism?
Comparing “ coalitions “ with stand alone parties is not objective.
They also scored an own goal with this because UDA + ODM = 31% , more than LM’s 25% , remember they haven’t yet included the KK aspects of UDA .
So who actually publishes such things without screening ?
Breaking my 20hr fast . Served with 2 slices of almond low carb bread . Intermittent fasting rocks !
If these micro financing organizations are on this app they should be tagged.
They used self - help women groups to lure women who were couldn’t get bank loans directly .
They promised to financially empower them only to give them loans that have a higher interest rates than the local banks !
Transparency must prevail !
On Live Streaming of Election results:
Remember, Ruto & Uhuru amended Elections Act in 2017 to block live streaming. We went to Court and Court invalidated the amendments.
That 10 years later Ruto thinks he can block live streaming is laughable.

Parliament’s decision to remove the IEBC’s legal obligation to livestream results at polling stations is a sign of fear!
Article 81 of our Constitution demands transparent, impartial, accurate and accountable elections. These are not optional safeguards.
Kenya has paid a heavy price for electoral distrust. How can MPs claim to represent the people while weakening the very safeguards that protect their votes?
If our leaders are confident in the people’s choice, why make it harder to see the results? Strengthen transparency, don’t undermine it.

The National Assembly has approved the Elections Amendment Bill 2024, which could scrap mandatory livestreaming of polling station results, raising fresh concerns over transparency ahead of the 2027 General Election.
