Thank you,@Dave_Eby, for your service to British Columbia and to the people of Vancouver–Point Grey. Public service asks a great deal of those who step forward and of the families beside them. Congratulations to @LDoerkson on becoming B.C.’s next premier. British Columbians have made their choice, and their priorities deserve action: affordable homes, reliable health care and a life they can afford. My commitment to Vancouver and this province continues. There is work to do, and I intend to keep doing my part.
Democracy is strongest when we all participate.
I’ve cast my vote. Now it’s your turn.
Your voice matters. Your vote matters. Make it count. 🇨🇦 – at Vancouver, British Columbia
Alberta chose unity. Now leadership must deliver. 🇨🇦 The people of Alberta have spoken, and democracy has prevailed. But this result should not be mistaken for a declaration that everything is working. A strong Canada does not silence disagreement. It listens, it learns, and it acts. Unity is not built by demanding loyalty. It is built by earning trust. We did not inherit this country simply to preserve it. We inherited a responsibility to make it better for the next generation.
Canada is stronger together. And together, we have work to do. – at Vancouver, British Columbia
The end of an era, but not the end of a legacy.
Thank you, @kareemformayor, for your support, guidance, and friendship throughout this journey. Your contributions to Vancouver and your dedication to public service deserve recognition.
Politics may bring us together, but brotherhood goes beyond it.
Wishing you nothing but success in your next chapter, my brother. ❤️
Congratulations, @PtFry, on your victory!
The campaign is over, but the work for Vancouver continues. We may have approached this election from different directions, but we share a responsibility to the people of this city.
The people of Vancouver deserve leadership that delivers, not just promises. We will continue to be a strong voice for our city, hold you to the highest standards of accountability, and ensure the commitments made to Vancouver are honoured.
Democracy doesn't end at the ballot box. That's where the real work begins.
Wishing you success, Pete. Because when you succeed in delivering for the people, Vancouver wins.
Our commitment to this city was never just about winning an election. It was, and always will be, about building a better Vancouver. – at Vancouver, British Columbia

We are the people. We won’t be silenced. Vancouver’s future belongs to its residents not decisions made without us. Stop the AI data centres. Now, now, now. Thank you to CBC News BC for covering the growing community opposition. – at Vancouver, British Columbia
At the Last Candidate Standing debate, Muhammad was asked to compliment a candidate from another party.
He chose to recognize someone who has faced a lot of hate because of his ethnicity and race, and who has continued to stand up for himself and for others facing the same kind of treatment.
Hate has no place in Vancouver. It should not matter what you look like, where you come from, what religion you follow or what part of the world your family comes from. We all deserve to be treated with the same dignity and respect.
Leadership is about standing up for others when it's easier to stay quiet.

No AI data centres in Vancouver.
Today, we rallied and made our voices heard:
We are the people!
We won’t be silenced!
Stop the AI data centres now, now, now!
Vancouver’s future belongs to the people who live here.

Bright Future Vancouver is bringing a new voice to this election. At Candid Candidates, we shared why we’re running and listened to the people shaping Vancouver’s future. Thank you to everyone who came out and joined the conversation. – at Vancouver, British Columbia
Judge me by my policies rather than my skin or my name because my name, my religion or my colour are not increasing your rent. But my policies might reduce it.
Public transit should be something people can rely on without having to think twice about whether they can afford it.
Bright Future Vancouver’s transit plan would:
• Start with free transit for everyone 18 and under and 50 and over, then work toward free transit for everyone
• Improve frequency and reliability across Vancouver so people are not left waiting or taking multiple buses
• Support a one-seat SkyTrain connection to UBC
• Better connect every Vancouver neighbourhood to the regional transit network
No neighbourhood should be left behind, and no one should be isolated because transit is too expensive or difficult to access.

Vancouver should work for the people who live here not only those who can afford it.
At the False Creek All-Candidates Meeting, I shared our plan for lower grocery costs, better childcare, affordable transit and a city that respects both young people and the seniors who built it.
Thank you to everyone who came, listened and challenged us and to our council candidates @ibrahimacisse__ and @andylin_official for representing Bright Future Vancouver.
We don’t come from political dynasties. We come from working families and we’re ready to reclaim our city.
🗳️ Vote Bright Future Vancouver on October 17.

Bright Future Vancouver isn’t trying to be another version of the parties already at City Hall.
We’re bringing different ideas to the table and we’re willing to look at things differently.
That means looking at city owned grocery stores to help bring down food costs. It means finding new ways to help people get into the housing market instead of accepting that an entire generation will just rent forever. It means making transportation more affordable so getting around the city doesn’t become another expense people have to worry about.
At the end of the day, we think City Hall should be judged by what actually changes for people. Can you afford to live here? Can you raise a family here? Can you see yourself building a future here? Does the city actually work for you?
We’re a younger, independent group, and we’re not afraid to question ideas that have been treated as the status quo for too long.
We’re not here just to manage the problems Vancouver already has. We’re here to try something different and make the city work better for the people who live here. – at Vancouver, British Columbia
