Great talk by Mark Palmer on US muon collider activities at HEPAP today. Scrappy grassroots efforts by hundreds of scientists while we wait for official US funding agency responses to the P5 “muon shot” so we can collaborate more effectively with the international community!

This was a great meeting with incredible enthusiasm and physics! Hopefully we can make the dream of a @MuonCollider come true @Fermilab

And we’ll need all the national labs working together as well as international cooperation to pull off a paradigm changing @MuonCollider and extend humanity’s reach into our fundamental understanding of the universe!
