Never flying with @lufthansa again. No space in overhead and rather than finding room stewardess stuffed it under seat, obstructing the path for passengers next to me (and my legs) #unsafe #rude

When will @univgroningen react to more than 2000 academics from all over the world protesting that Susanne Täuber was fired for publicly criticizing the hidden gender discrimination at her own university? How many more eminent scholars need to sign the open letter? #AmINext

Zero draft is a critical part of the academic writing process. But a lot of folks ignore it and run into all sorts of problems including the writer's block. Here's what a zero draft is and why you should write one:

To me, making sure that everyone is supported in developing academic skill is key to an inclusive learning environment. So impressed by this mid-term feedback session by @jacasiegel which takes student complaints seriously AND uses the opportunity to explain how exams are made!
I did something very scary today. Last week, I gave an exam that I felt was pretty straightforward. However, my students were very upset, as they felt that it was too difficult. I cancelled today's lecture and let the 220 students share their feelings in class. 🧵

Thanks @SHOC_OBHC for a great #OBHC2022 conference. Many great presentations, but most of all I was inspired by the thoughtful discussions between colleagues. I left with new ideas and energy to continue my research!
